Both A.J. Klien and Kiko Alonso will not play against the 49ers due to injuries. Klien has a banged-up knee and Alonso has a thigh injury. That will leave Trey Hendrickson as the only non-melanin Saints defensive player. If the Saints lose that will put Seattle as the number one seed for the play-offs. Ugh. Alonso has really been playing well lately and it seems his playing time has increased. It's a shame he is injured at the same time as Klien. I think most here would probably be pulling for the 49ers. Boy, I'd hate to see Seattle have home-field advantage throughout the playoffs, though.

Hopefully the Rams get some revenge for the game earlier in the season where the Seahawks benefited from a terrible roughing the passer penalty on Clay Matthews against Wilson (another one of the many calls this year benefiting a black QB). Kupp should also get to 1k yards today.

Some other notable injured players who are inactive for the early games: Adam Thielen, Matt Stafford, Greg Olsen, Sam Hubbard, Scott Miller and Anthony Nelson.

Looking at the slate of games today:

Ravens vs. Bills is the big one of the early games. Hopefully McDermott is smart enough to spy jackson and force him to throw the ball - he is not a consistent passer - eliminate the running threat / show different fronts and blitz packages - confuse him with different looks.

Broncos - Texans - hopefully Drew Lock puts up another solid performance showcasing his arm strength and scrambling ability.

Dolphins - Jets - hopefully alot more of Laird in this game for the Dolphins and some Zenner too! Geisicki and Berrios are two other players to watch out for.

Chiefs - Patriots - my guess is Brady is pissed and will go on a tear down the stretch. Hopefully he looks to Edelman early and often. Run the ball against the Chiefs soft front four too! They should of held on Holister rather than trade him to Seattle. The ******* Man's play has slowed down in the past few weeks so hopefully Winovich and Simon get to him today.

Steelers - Cardinals - Hopefully "Duck" outduels the magical midget and the "revolutionary" horizontal offense of the Magical Midget Jr. today.

Question and forgive my ignorance at nicknames...who the pluck is Duck?

I’m hoping for McCaffrey 100 yards plus
Laird 15-70-1 or better
Two white starters at rb, maybe Rex gets more involved today.

Got the Jets game here in NY. Laird being provided with absolutely no running room. Jets are a bad team but their strength is their run defense.

Vigil with an INT - ripped the ball out of the Browns overrated TE David Njoku (he was part of the "most athletic TE" class in draft history - the one where Kittle went in the 5th round).

Nick Vigil just had a great fumble recovery where he ripped it out of receivers hands and then ran it back about 30 yards!

If CM is going to get 100 yards plus, he's going to have to get it in 3 quarters. So far 1 carry, -1 yards with about three minutes left in the fourth. Panthers are terrible. Have only run three offensive plays in the first quarter.

TE Tonyan with the TD for the Packers!

Nice to see him utilized!

Did you see Redskins Safety Landon Collins get torched the play before by Jimmy Graham?! LOL Not a peep from the announcers.. If that would have been a white defender, o man, back to the bench for Whitey.

Apke must be relegated back to WSTD. Graham also got tripped up by the turf monster - he's another afflete living off of a few good seasons earlier in his career.

Since when has Buffalo had completely red uniforms?

Teams should stick to their traditional uniforms. These new uniforms don't look good.

Bills had to BS plays called against them on that drive - the holding penalty and then non-existent unsportsmanlike conduct. #qbingwhile black.

Wouldn't some safety blitzes take care of some of these option plays? Trade off some coverage for quick pressure.

Yea if you had a lockdown corner that teams couldn't exploit. Most corners are terrible so if you brought a safety you could be more easily exploited in the passing game. If the best players actually played it would be less of a problem.
