The "golden years" phrase isn't literal but it represents a vibe I have been getting from some posters here. I think we might have been on the verge of something special in 2016 which finished with that glorious Patriots Super Bowl comeback against toxic Atlanta.

I want to take a look at the WR situation then and now. In 2016 we saw-----

Jordy came back from his ACL tear with a massive season with a 97-1257-14.

Edelman was great and Adam Thielen finally emerged as a top player albeit he was jilted out of a 1,000 yard season with a 69-967-5 stat line. Slot receivers Cole Beasley (75-833-5) and Adam Humphries (55-622-2) were solid and on the upswing. And Chris Hogan emerged out of the blue with a big play 38-680-4 stat line and led the league per catch with a 17.9 average.

These days CM has been terrific and a huge breath of fresh air but he alone can't mask the slip we have seen in WRs since 2016. I know TE play is at a great level but they aren't wide receivers as much as like a lot of them.

On the bright side Adam Thielen will return on national tv in a game of huge importance for the Vikings and the Seahawks. This game can go towards home field advantage possibly in one of the playoff games. I expect a high scoring shootout between two very good quarterbacks. I expect Thielen to have a huge game assuming he plays the normal amount of snaps.

Cmac still leads the NFL in rushing. Cooper Kupp is still in the top 10 despite 2 very poor games with none of it being his fault. He will easily eclpse 1200 yards at the end of the year in my opinion and next the Thielen is one of the finest receivers in the league.

Tom Brady and the Patriots continue to win week after week. Only 1 loss on the year!

Patrick Laird had 3 carries for 20 yards last week. He might become a starter eventually.

I could list other things but to keep it short you get the point. Focus on the positive bro. We love you here and your our brother. Just keep your head up and never quit fighting this evil system!

One thing that really hurts our side (not picking on anyone here, it typically affects "conservatives" but nationalists have gotten caught up in it too) is when we give attention to and exert energy on getting angered by what I call "outrage porn" - basically meaning extreme anti-white, attention-seeking, bait type statements from the far left. There are a lot of so-called "right wing" sites that I stopped visiting because they had so many "Look what so-and-so leftist said about us now! Outrage! Outrage!" posts and not a lot of actual right-wing material. When we engage in that kind of behavior, we give power to the enemy by letting them decide the terms and location of the battle. It's especially bad when the "outrageous" statement is made by some unknown nobody who gains fame from the attention our side gives him. I myself have sinned, so to speak, in this regard by giving attention to trolls, which is something I'm making a point not to do anymore and would urge others to do the same.

We should instead focus on our own material, coming up with original content, witty commentary on contemporary issues, etc., posting it, and letting them be the ones to get distracted and waste their time and energy getting outraged over what we write (which, thankfully, many on the left, especially self-proclaimed "social justice" types, frequently fall for). That's what I like about redpill memes, Pepe the Frog, etc., even if they're not super intellectual. We're on the offensive. We are the actors and the enemy are the ones being acted upon. That's why I made a thread about sports teams visiting President Trump at the White House specifically to showcase the actual pictures and articles about the athletes and their visits. Those on the left who want to grandstand about refusing to visit, and those on the right who want to give in to the outrage porn addiction and give attention to those grandstanders on the left, can go elsewhere for their emotional release.

Remember, they're always trying to bait us. Don't fall for it.

That's strange. Most of my post about wide receivers disappeared and I am assuming a moderator was involved. I have never seen that before. It wasn't one of my full scale rants either. I don't have the energy to recap my detailed look at the wide receivers this season again. I can't figure that out unless I somehow hit a wrong key somehow. Maybe I need a long vacation. A very long one.

Josh Allen has improved tremendously as a passer this year, in no small part thanks to the addition of reliable and athletic White receivers Cole Beasley and Dawson Knox, but I like that he still showcases his running ability and does it in a balanced manner - not so much that he's going to get banged up, but enough that he has 7 rushing TDs on the season so far. Very little of the praise for athletic, run-capable quarterbacks from the (((mainstream media))) falls Allen's way, but he'll get his due here.

I'm hoping for another nice game from Beasley tomorrow in Dallas. It's kind of a revenge game for him, playing against his old team, who he criticized for the way he was used. He's one of the very few White football players who isn't afraid to speak his mind at times.

I remember we posted a video last year of Cole Beasley throwing down a monster dunk worth of a nba slam dunk contest. This kid at 5'8 inches tall is as explosive and athletic as they come! I will be rooting for the
Bills tommorow. If Dallas loses, the Eagles with all of their injuries this years will still have a chance to win the division. That is amazing with their troubles this years.

Let's go Bills. Let's go Josh Allen & Cole Beasley! :)

I found the video:

Billy Budd snapped. Anyway I agree the empty stadiums is a bigger deal than some think. It portends a social trend, in part it is being driven by the rancid anti-white rhetoric. The NFL can thank the scum at ESPN for that.

These days CM has been terrific and a huge breath of fresh air but he alone can't mask the slip we have seen in WRs since 2016. I know TE play is at a great level but they aren't wide receivers as much as like a lot of them.

I am citing my own post because due to a technical issue the rest of this post was accidentally deleted and it was out of my hands.

Just to sidetrack for a second about attendance. Don is right to say the league has a very strong revenue foundation and is loaded with safety walls. But Truthteller is exposing some cracks which can get larger and if allowed to fester unattended could cause some structural damage.

Now to complete my wide receiver thoughts.

One word about my "negative posts" which it seems has rattled some members. I would much rather post positive news especially about an up and coming young white star. But I also think it is very important to access things as realistically as possible and not sugarcoat stuff when things aren't good. We owe it to white athletes to hold them to a standard which is above and beyond "settling" for a state resembling mediocrity or something slightly above it.

But back to my theme about why things have slipped since the end of the 2016 season. And by the way I wasn't doing a hell of a lot of bitching back then because the future at WR was looking up. The 2017 draft saw Ryan Switzer and Chad Hansen picked in the fourth and Trent Taylor in the fifth. They looked like solid reinforcements to the stable of white WRs who were coming off big seasons.

The back drop today is much different. This was one of the worst years ever for college white wide receivers and even beyond this shaky senior class ( I see three draft types but the NFL surely won't) the ranks are all of a sudden absurdly thin. If the college situation was better I wouldn't be as prone to being down.

But a look at the WR situation at the NFL level suggests a drop off from that high from 2016. Cooper Kupp is now a star and Adam Thielen was coming off his best season but his injury, which might linger who knows, put a pall on the season. Even the one rookie WR making some noise,Hunter Renfrow, a longtime favorite here, looks to be out perhaps the rest of the season with a rib injury.

There is Julian Edelman of course and I pray every day he sails over 1,000 yards this season to finally quiet the critics who don't think he belongs in the Hall Of Fame.

Cole Beasley, see above, has been pretty solid and it is nice to see Josh Allen have white targets this year see above post. Danny Amendola has had some moments but his career is likely to end in a year or two? Jake Kumerow of the Packers? I wouldn't hold my breath the way they are barely using him.

But elsewhere most of the news is negative. Chad Hansen never got a sniff and Trent Taylor's future due to injuries is in doubt.

College stars Ryan Switzer and Trey Quinn could be exiting very soon thanks to the noxious dink and dunk program they have had to endure.

Adam Humphries who was on the rise has shriveled up since joining the Titans although I hold out some hope now that Tannehill is his QB now. Once promising Chris Hogan might be gone for good? And Justin Watson of the Bucs has all but disappeared as well.

Braxton Berrios was let go of the team that drafted him and is now a punt returner for the Jets but he hasn't played WR except for last week a couple of snaps where one resulted in long chunk play. But there is no indication the Jets are serious about playing him at WR on a steady basis. Ditto Alex Erickson of the Bengals despite his good play in limited action. Another UDFA like Erickson from his same class is Jordan Taylor and he kind of fell off the radar. Same for promising Dylan Cantrell from the 2018 draft who was let go by the Chargers.

This last draft college star David Sills suffered the indignity of not being drafted and now languishes on the Giants practice squad. We were all shocked beyond belief. The two speedsters who were drafted we were all excited about Andy Isabella and Scott Miller have been nothing but blips on the radar screen this year so far. I am not overly confident that the Bucs and Cards see them as future staples? Time will tell but it is discouraging to see them languish where other less talented young black wide receivers are given ample playing time. Our best hope is they do click next season and maybe make some noise the rest of this season. Hopes are thin but you have to hang onto something.

So for all the reasons above I am less optimistic about the white WR outlook than I was going into the 2017 season. My blowing off steam after the Monday night disaster wasn't just about Lamar Jackson. It was Cooper Kupp in dink and dunk mode in a big TV game and the culmination of the WR situation in the NFL this year that brought me to a boil.

In the meantime I will try and look for positives and keep my negativity ( which is hard for me) to a minimum.

Don, I absolutely agree with everything you typed in post #199, regarding all the money the NFL is raking in and how little impact "empty seats" might have on their bottom line. I do not debate any of that. What gives me some "hope", is that more and more whites are rejecting this rancid league. Not too long ago, even a 4-12 Giants or 4-12 Redskins team could pack their respective Stadiums with ease, because mostly white fans "loved" their teams so much. In recent years, 4-12 leads to at least 15,000 to 30,000 seats in both places (and about another 15 or 19 cities) on a regular basis. Obviously there are even playoff caliber teams that have tons of empty seats, which is even better! Those empty seats are mostly whites not bothering to show up to support predominantly black teams. At least that's a start in right direction, perhaps? I realize the NFL isn't going down like the USFL or even struggling to go forward, that's not what I am suggesting. But isn't it nice to see large chunks of whites reject this garbage, Marxist league where white athletes are clearly discriminated against?

Don't forget, NFL teams only play 16 games a year, half in their own Stadiums! You mentioned the NHL earlier, several years ago the New York Rangers sold out Yankee Stadium for outdoor games twice in the same week. L.A. Kings sold out Dodger Stadium consecutive nights a few years back. Think about (for example) if your Pittsburgh Penguins played only 8 games in front of their own fans each season, don't you think the Pen's could sellout all 8 games at Heinz Field? I think they would. I think the Rangers easily could in N.Y., considering they play over 40 games at MSG and have sold out (19,000 plus) every night for decades, even with bad teams. I think more than half the NHL teams could sell out just 8 games per season in outdoor stadiums. Those are basically all-white teams, absolutely beloved by their fans. Unlike these mostly black NFL teams, who need to be title contenders to fill their stadiums in an increasing amount of cities.

Considering all the free media attention and adulation NFL teams get in these big cities from the media, it's stunning to see teams like the Giants and Redskins play in front so many empty seats. Again, what I'm trying to say is at least that's a positive step in the right direction -- albeit, perhaps, a small step? Perhaps I'm foolish, but I really love to see large chunks of empty seats at NFL stadiums across America. That's something that would've been deemed "unthinkable" in the 90's and 2000's in a lot of places. Whether the Jewish owners in Atlanta, Tampa, Miami and Carolina still rake in larger amounts of money is irrelevant to me. Just shows how rigged the "system" is. That will not change anytime soon.

What is relevant to me is owners in places like Atlanta, Tampa, Miami and Carolina probably figured they'd purchase one of these all-black NFL teams and the stupid Goyim would flock to games to kiss the backsides of their ebony superheros, and fight over tickets like rodents fighting over scraps from a tipped over dumpster outside of a Taco Bell. Instead, they sit in their owners boxes on Sunday's and see half-filled stadiums. That must sting them harder than they ever expected.......Regardless if they make money hand-over fist or not.

There's always been a lot of empty seats, especially toward the end of the year in cities where the team is out of the playoff hunt. And again, don't be deceived by some pictures showing a lot of empty seats at the beginning of the game or the beginning of the second half. It's what the stadium looks like in the middle of the first quarter through the end of the half and in the middle of the third quarter through the end of the game that counts.

You are incorrect also that empty seats means those seats weren't originally sold. Here's the NFL's attendance figures for 2019: http://www.espn.com/nfl/attendance There's nothing close to any team in the league selling only half their seats. Sure, that link is based on seats sold, not actual bodies in the seats, but that's also how the NBA, NHL and MLB report attendance figures.

This article cites the Steelers as one of the "five worst fan bases halfway through the 2019 season," with 90 percent turnout at their games, yet the Steelers have sold out every home game since 1972 and maintain a waiting list of thousands who want to buy season tickets. https://www.fanduel.com/theduel/pos...hrough-first-half-of-2019-season-01drm3ceb79f

I have the Sunday Ticket and watch parts of every game. The owners are not sitting in their boxes and seeing half-filled stadiums. The stadiums are mostly or completely filled after the first and second halves get under way. And then you have the amazing amount of DWFs who travel the country to root for their teams on the road. And then you have all the fans who would prefer to watch Sunday Ticket or just local TV to shelling out a ton of money to go see the home team, because many fans simply can't afford it anymore and prefer to watch on television. Do you watch any games? Half-empty stadiums are nowhere near the norm.

And as an aside, the Penguins would have difficulty selling out Heinz Field for 8 home games. When the last outdoor game was played there in 2017, the game was sold out but close to a third of the fans were Flyers fans who traveled from Philly. Hockey is very popular in Pittsburgh, but there are more Steelers fans than Penguins fans, and again the cost of seeing a game in person, whether hockey or football, has become prohibitive in recent years. If you're taking a spouse or girlfriend, or your family, it's easy to lay down a grand for the experience. That's beyond what a lot of people can or will spend and they will instead watch on the boob tube.

There is more disgruntlement toward the NFL, that I will grant you, but the "half empty" stadium as the "new normal" claim is based on hope not fact. And given the rampant criminality of so many players, shoddy play, Kapernick et. al., not to mention the anti-White discrimination which still hasn't registered with more than a very tiny minority, the backlash has been minor overall. The NFL is still minting money and is still America's secular religion with no competitors remotely in sight.

Don has more facts on his side, but I see a trend. I remember early this year watching Carolina and the TV crew could not do the usual focus on the field shots and damn in the lower seats a lot of plastic was showing thru the whole games. I'll stick with my hypothesis that the NFL is trending down and it is eating its seed corn or body fat to maintain, but I think that is the story thru out all of Globo Homo's queendom. Anyway I want to watch the Bills and a real running QB today.

Then there’s Cody Thompson, Toledo’s best WR over the last several years....
Who do the Steelers draft on day two? The other Toledo WR.
Thompson is bigger, just as fast and had better stats in college....
The Steelers could have picked up Winovich with that pick and got Thompson in the fifth round, but nooooo......Too many white athletes may create a negative buzz...

I don't think anyone on CF thinks of (circa) 2019 as Golden Years, let's be honest. Those are long gone, probably forever.

Now that Shadowlight brought up Jason Sehorn it also brings up another point, he was no trailblazer... Powers that be determined that he will be the last white starting CB (outside of Kevin Kaesviharn who started a few there for Bengals and Dustin Fox who never really got a shot), so who's to say that CMac will usher in any noticeable improvement at HB? I guess we already have at least one coming up, Will Shipley but we shall see how that will pan out.

Shipley looks like a real stud, but don’t forget about Borghi, despite low production due to Leach, he’s on the nfl radar, or will be in two more years.....Filkins switching to Stanford to play running back is great news.....There are always sleepers that emerge.....I still have hopes that Dudek gets drafted and maybe a Chad Magyar becomes a Laird type situation...
