The Cowboy beat a bad Lions team with their back up QB by 8. Hoping the Eagles go on a run in the 2nd half of the season to win the East.

Pretty good 40 time of 4.46, but a pedestrian 20 yard shuttle compared to others, 4.35. Laird, 4.14 shuttle, Nall, 4.16 hand timed. CMAC, 4.22 laser timed. Maybe that's part of his problem. Straight away speed only. An inability and stop change direction, vision, brains, etc.
Yes, measurables mean nothing especially at RB. There's more than one way to average 1.9 yards a carry. LOL. Nall would trip and fall for 3 yards every time he touched the ball much less if he got just a small seam to bust through as we've seen him do for big yardage in pre season. I'll be watching tonight hopefully to see him maul some LB's and DB's.

Ballage is 6' 2" and 231 pounds, which makes his 4.46 very impressive. That's close to Travis Jervey measurables for size and speed, but that and all of Ballage's other measurables are meaningless because he's a terrible running back.

Ballage is the worst starting NFL running back I've ever seen. Has great measurables that DWFs and media caste clowns drool over but has no vision, no power, no elusiveness. He's a complete dud. He's irrefutable proof that "measurables" mean little to nothing when it comes to actual ability and performance, even at running back which is the most instinctive and least thinking position of them all.

As a Dolphins fan, we've had some real stinkers at RB in our teams history (Sammie Smiff, Cecil "doesn't run on diesel" Collins, Daniel Thomas, Lamar Gordon, etc..) but this Ballage dude may top them all in terms of ineptitude. He stunk at the college level as well, but had great measurables and that mouth watering "upside" which is what propelled him into being a 4th round pick. Meanwhile, a guy like Patrick Laird goes undrafted as has already proven to be more useful in the few games he has played.

Just like in Miami, Laird may have better credentials than Ballage....Nall has over Montgomery......The other is automatically better....Let’s see what happens next week with the Dolphins.....and tonight with the Bears......

I love it, Maxx Crosby had been close to a break-out game for a while now. He showed what's he made of today. Credit to Mike Mayock and Jon Gruden for playing Crosby (and Hunter Renfrow) as rookies, deservedly so.

I counted 10.5 palefaces starting for the Rams (Taylor Rapp is half white/half Asian), that’s one of the highest numbers I can recall since I’ve become cast aware. The Pats and maybe Manning-era Colts may have come close to that number, but that was usually due to their offenses, the Ds were still mostly coal black.

These Rams are more balanced and clearly the team to root for. Goff needs to step up his game after last week’s stinker at Pitt (not all his fault).

If you need struggling black RBs to produce, just put a white RB behind them on the depth chart, works most of the time. The Bears awful running game all of a sudden has some life.

At least Nall is earning some game checks instead of PS money, hopefully it continues because getting carries seems like a pipe dream, so at least get some $$.

When a top receiver has an off game the QB is careful to forcefeed the ball to him the next game. But not Cooper Kupp. After having zero catches last week he has just one tonight, even though it was a 50 yarder that just missed being a TD. Kupp is uncoverable but even the Rams, who are one of the top relatively white friendly teams, won't treat Kupp as the obvious superstar he is.

The Rams are playing into the Bears hands with their cork up their ass offensive game plan. I know they are missing a couple of starting wide receivers but really this is ultra vanilla coaching from someone who is known to be creative. This molasses approach is very unbecoming of the Rams. Kind of like the Vikings offense at the beginning of the year. Dead in the water.

The Chiefs stay up all night programming plays for Tyreek Hill. The Rams apparently don't put that kind of work into drawing up plays for their star Cooper Kupp.

Tarik Cohen, he who is obviously plenty big to play in the NFL at a generously-listed at 5-foot-6, 191-pounds, hasn’t had his diminutive stature mentioned a single time during tonight’s broadcast. meanwhile, any White player under 6-foot-5 is “undersized.”

meanwhile, possibly the only thing less imposing than Cohen’s stature is his production. 3/4 of the way through the 10th game of the season, he finally managed to have a 10-yard run.

“clearly,” no White athletes need apply when you have that type of dynamic playmaking at the position. smh
