2019 NFL Preseason

What networks are you guys watching these games on? Local telecasts maybe? The NFL Network has the Jets-Giants and there's no other games being televised on my DirecTV directory.

NFL Network - although I have Sling TV not sure if that changes things.

Olszewski and Berrios have combined for 67 yards on punt returns, that’s very impressive. Olszewski has a 14 yarder and a 19 yarder.

Laird with some nice runs

Not the best start for Sills, called for pass interference and then drops a 3rd down pass a few plays later.

Michael Walker returning kicks for the Jags and Wingard with 4 tackles already.

Durrant Miles stood out to me last week for the Falcons and he has got a sack tonight already.
CJ Worton continuing to get a lot of playing time for them as well, playing slot and punt returner. He ran a 4.39 I believe.

Yeah Sills will learn he can't be as aggressive as he was in college. He will probably get more playing time in the next game.

Chad Kelly had a nice 30+ yard rush for a TD. Hopefully he can stop being a bonehead - he should bypass the black quarterback Walker easily and probably push Brissett if he keeps his head on straight.

Absolutely. I say if he quits being a bonehead he will make the team as 3rd stringer for now. Nice of Reich to do his Uncle Jim a solid. If he screws this up he might as well spit on his uncle.

Chase Winovich had a nice sack, he is so fast off the edge the QB barely had time to even look up. Lions OL has given up 7 sacks to the Patriots tonight.

Giants Safety Jake Carlock wearing #52 ; with a 59 yard TD on a Pick Six! Ryan Connelly was solid tonight.

Way to go Patrick Laird!

Chad Kelly could be an NFL Starting QB if he keeps his mind right!

Titans WR Cody Hollister 4 rec for 58 yards & TD

Twentywo -was Carlock that small school CB they signed as UDFA?

Trent Irwin has made some nice grabs. Bob Griese just compared him to Julian Edelman

He was incorrectly listed as a CB coming out of the draft, he actually is an outside linebacker. But he played some safety in college.

Interestingly he was lined up as a defensive end on the pick 6.

Cody Hollister had an amazing catch on the sideline then he went and scored a TD a few plays later. He was listed as 2nd team on their depth chart, he has a chance to make the Titans and finally get to play in the regular season in his 3rd year as long as he stays healthy which he has struggled to do.

Some notes from Atlanta/Miami game:

Local kid C.J. Worton out of FIU had a couple of grabs and a TD.... I was not aware of this, but this kid ran a 4.37 40.... I believe that’s about 3 rookie receivers with 4.3 speed (Andy Isabella, Scotty Miller and C.J. Worton).

RB Patrick Laird had the longest run of the night and played well in limited time. 6 carries for 24 yards.

WR Trent Irwin had 2 receptions for 32 yards.

Too bad Andy Isabella was inactive tonight, I was looking forward to seeing his debut. Hopefully next week his hamstring is healed!

Drue Tranquill with a pick in his first game!

Very next drive, rookie DB Tyler Sigler almost gets a pick 6!! Easton Stick chased him down after a 52 yard return.

Just did some digging and found out Tyler Sigler played cornerback in college. Imagine being a D3 wide receiver and going against a 6’3” 215lbs corner.

QB Easton Stick with the impressive 31 yard TD run! 2 carries for 51 yards so far...

Thanks for the clip Red Raider ...Siglar is a ball player that looks like he belongs! He did get shaken up; came off field; hope he's OK

Not a good sign, the lions are one of only a couple of teams with a homogeneous O Line who under preformed last season, hopefully they figure things out

Patriots seem to think of Gunner Olszewski as a legit player and not just a camp body. He played slot receiver, punt returner, and even got a carry at running back during the game! He is a former corner and seems like the type of guy that Belichick likes, he looks like he has been playing offense his whole career even though he was a cornerback all 4 years of college. He does have experience with the ball in his hands from being an excellent punt returner in college. Apparently he was also the starting kick returner for the Patriots last night but didn’t get a chance to return one (held Lions to only 3 points). I will predict he makes the practice squad this year and maybe groom him to be a guy once Edelman retires.
