The strange connection between the Cardinals and the Bucs draft picks.
The Bucs nabbed two players from the Midwest in Scott Miller and Anthony Nelson. In fact Scott Miller worked out for the Bears, essentially his home town but it appears the Bears are now part of the sinister caste brigade.
The Cardinals nabbed two players from Massachusetts in Andy Isabella and Zach Allen.
I can't think of two more anonymous teams and it will be especially difficult to watch any Tampa Bay games on TV unless you live in Florida.
When CM was drafted I am pretty sure that along with his dad Ed, they wanted to play on a natural surface. So he ended up in Carolina and their field is voyager Bermuda grass. Nice and fluffy.
Well both Arizona and Tampa Bay play on a Tifway 419 Bermuda grass. Some more nice fluffy grass!
I had spoken of black fillers in the NFL draft and like always there were too many black fillers in this draft.
But when I see natural grass fields it seems to correspond better with white athletes. Whereas with artificial turfs speedy black athletes come to mind. Remember when most baseball fields became artificial for a spell there and black players were stealing 100 plus bases a year?
I disdain artificial turfs. Even these new artificial hybrids that look more like grass than the old Astro turfs contain these odious pellets that sometimes become unglued. Fake crap.
One more example of my old fashioned ways but grass is the only way to go. That artificial crap with the fake bounciness that makes players faster doesn't cut the mustard. Good for CM for avoiding that crap for at least half of his games.
And do white players play better on grass and black players better on artificial surfaces? My guess is yes. Just a guess but it sure seems that way. White athletes feel more comfortable with a real natural surface like good ole grass while blacks excel on fake junky surfaces. Makes perfectly good sense to me.

Would love to see Chase Hansen get the opportunity to play Strong Safety with the Saints...for Senior season he added 10lbs to become hybrid-Linebacker. He could be the Taysom Hill of the Defense.
His injury & age (25 or 26? /older for Rookie) has got to be most of the reason why he was not Drafted .. When i started Top College DB's thread back in 17' ; was thinking Hansen would go (at least 3rd) where his team mate Cody Barton(Seahawks) went instead. Thought Hansen was the better player of the two.

LB/DE Porter Gustin headed to New Orleans also. NO has a pretty crowded front 7, hopefully he gets an opportunity to make an impact...

Both Scott Miller and Trace McSorley count as outer layer players who were not expected to get drafted. Longshots. TE Dax Raymond and obviously David Sills were scheduled (ha) to be safely chosen but they got shut out. And Cody Thompson had a decent shot but he was left out too.
But on defense if you eliminate two terrific but injury riddled players Porter Gustin and Chase Hansen, the most obvious snub was S Andrew Wingard, who was seen as a late round pick. But unlike on offense no outer layer players were chosen on defense. S Chris Johnson, who I actually have rated higher than Wingard was snubbed and LB Joey Alfieri's name wasn't called either.
If the Cowboys and the Chiefs stupidly decide to not start safeties Jeff Heath and Daniel Sorensen the notion of white safety will be in grave danger. Only the Vikings star Harrison Smith would be the candle holder. Eric Weddle now with the Rams is at the tail end of his career. Taylor Rapp is half Chinese and non black but isn't fully white either so people can judge his "status" on an individual basis.
Since the Cardinals have a new HC I am not sure where to frame them although you wonder with their draft and all of their wide receiver picks including Isabella why was it necessary to draft the Circus Act? Why not just keep Rosen who throws a nice ball despite his tough season?
But Arians of Tampa Bay and Carroll of Seattle broke from their past and didn't go straight down the caste line.
But have no fear a younger group has already replaced them. The new Browns GM looks like the biggest caste slut to come down the pike in years. The new Bears HC has clearly decided to go the Jack Del Rio Raiders route and eliminate most all white players.
The Colts are building a standard 90's type team with some white players but in caste appropriate spots only like the OL or at DT to go along with a top white QB.
Now a brief look at the AFC East.
I simply don't like the Jets. They did bring in LB Blake Cashman but I expect them to unload him on the special teams. They are a caste flavored team for the most part.
The Bills on the other hand are methodically building for a future around Josh Allen and I suspect with Sills dropping into their lap via free agency I can see and understand where they are going. Nabbing a top line athletic TE in Dawson Knox was a savvy pick. They are (albeit) slowly shedding the caste cloth that has enveloped this team for years and heading in the right direction.
The Patriots, especially if WR Braxton Berrios starts seeing the field are still a team to root hard for. Adding crown jewel Chase Winovich only sweetens the pot. How he wasn't a first round pick is a mystery.
The Dolphins didn't dive down the caste chute as many thought. A tough team to warm up to they made a few eye opening moves. I still haven't figured out how the so called genius and now Jets HC Adam Gase couldn't get more out of TE Mike Gesicki. Gesicki, who I have seen play when he was at Penn State countless times, is the most athletic TE in all of football yet Gase managed to mute him.
With this new regime with Rosen (who throws nice soft passes) on board you have to think Gesicki will become a main attraction this season. But they grabbed a diamond in hybrid Andrew Van Ginkel. He has off the charts athleticism and will become a major disruptor.

With the Rams getting Gaines and Rapp (for some) in the draft and their acquisitions of Matthews and Weddle in the offseason on defense; the return of Kupp from injury and then Higbee at TE, Goff at QB and a majority White O-Line, they may be the best team to root for come this fall.

A brief look at the NFC North.
The Bears and HC Nagy have fallen down the caste hole as has been reported here at length here at CF. The athletic Trubisky is exciting but overall this is one of the most despicable teams in the league. That all black defense along with media hero Mack lost their play off game but the white kicker got blamed. They are the new Raiders. And like them I expect a gradual deterioration. Sure hope so.
The Lions have been fashionably caste for so long it isn't worth going back in time. Yes they have a 3rd(?) string RB in Zenner but the offensive skill position areas have been lacking and last year they didn't bother with their speedy new TE pick up Luke Wilson, who is now with the Raiders.
It is on defense though where the Lions have been caste entrenched forever it seems and that long standing tradition remains firmly in place as this ass wipe outfit didn't draft one white defensive players when so many talented ones were available. Two white safeties sitting there ignored. And on and on.
They did grab the best TE in the draft in Hockenson and then drafted another one in Issac Nauta, who is more of an in line only TE.
The Packers GM was challenging that prick out of Cleveland for GM caste sniffer of the year but he partially redeemed himself after day one. TE Sternberger is just what the doctor and Aaron Rodgers ordered. A seam busting big play artist who can take it to the house. Has some Travis Kelce traits.
Unlike the Lions the Pack had the wherewithal to nab a terrific athletic defender in hybrid Ty Summers. Summers and his explosive speed will be a welcome addition to a team that could be a lot of fun if rising star Kyle Fackrell (10 1/2 sacks) and WR Jake Kumerow are allowed to play a lot. DE Dean Lowry has been a solid player. Trouble is the Packers have traded and drafted players who are looking to replace both Fackrell and Lowry which would be a first class bummer. And a misdiagnosis of a core issue with the Packers. All those upside underwear Olympic type black WRs they hauled in from last year are clueless giving Rodgers a year long headache.
The Vikings are that rare team that is easy to root for and I think this next edition will be even better. Buttery smooth Adam Thielen is great and despite the late season dip I think he and Kirk Cousins go well together.
Like the Bills the Vikings are understanding where the trouble spots are and tried to address them. That O line almost got Cousins killed last year. C/G Garrett Bradbury was a perfect pick for them. An athletic fast take charge OL. They picked up talented WR/PR Jordan Taylor in the off season. If he can remain healthy he upgrades the WR core. They have needed a third option for a few years now.
They are likely to move TE Rudolph either now or after the season which is why they picked up Alabama TE Irv Smith. It is tough to lose a solid white TE but they weren't going to resign him anyway and at least Smith can block which is rare these days for black TEs. And this team needs all the blocking it can get. They nailed a real football player on D in MLB Cameron Smith. A rugged tackler who shed some weight ( a better athlete than given credit for) he compares favorably to Denver's Josey Jewell. The Vikings defense lacks overall toughness so a nice pick there. Star S Harrison Smith deserves a trip to a Super Bowl some day soon.
Cousins is more athletic than given credit for and if he and Thielen hook up big this year and the other pieces fall in place I think all of us here at CF will be cheering them on as they retake command of the North division.

The white kicker was blamed but in fact the kick was blocked. NFL statistics has it in the books as a blocked lick. Yet the mainstream media and DWFs still blame the white kicker. They love to rag on white players.

Not sure if it has been mentioned yet but former Iowa DT Matt Nelson is being moved to OL by the Lions. He was a UDFA.
Still waiting to see if 3 receivers who had over 1,100 yards in college get signed or receive tryouts

Very true. They also have other white backups like WR Austin Proehl, TE Johnny Mundt, abc OLB Morgan Fox. Hopefully they’ll resign LB’s Matt Longacre and Bryce Hager.
DT Greg Gaines should replace Suh as a starter and Clay Matthews could replace the departed Mark Barron.
They could have 3-4 white starters (Waddle, Gaines, Matthews, Rapp, Fox) on defense alone.

One of the biggest surprises was that Clemson OT Mitch Hyatt wasn't drafted. Hyatt played well at the highest level against some of the best players such as Bradley Chubb, Harold Landry and Brian Burns - all high draft picks. He was a stalwart of Clemson's national championship team.
Hyatt tests out to be above average athletically with an RAS of 6.64. To put this in perspective, Miss. OT Greg Little had a 5.28 RAS and was taken in the second round.
Hyatt was signed as a free agent by Dallas, who got a bargain. He should have been drafted, at the very least, by the 6th or 7th round. Draft Analyst's Tony Pauline had a fourth round grade on him. Hyatt has a good chance to stick as a back-up at T or G with starter potential.

WR Thomas Ives 6'5 215 of Colgate signed with the Bears, and has a real shot to stick.
I'm looking at Weenieworld's "Dynasty Rookie Ratings" for fantasy football and the use of the Caste System is striking. Their #1 rookie is N'Keal Harry (what an idiotic first name), who "at the NFL Scouting Combine recorded a 4.53 40-yard dash, and a 38.5-inch vertical. On the surface, these numbers look average, but when adjusting for size this is a 90th percentile speed score." Seriously, someone who runs a 4.53 40 and is 6'0" tall is considered fast? Why isn't this height adjustment ever used for White players then?

NFL.com's Lance Zierlein made a list of his top 3 picks in each round. None of them, as far as I can tell, is white. All 21 are black.
You'd think he could find just one white player whose pick he liked in at least one round. It makes you wonder if he's
prejudiced.

The Los Angeles Chargers drafted North Dakota State QB Easton Stick in the fifth. Stick has high end athleticism. His RAS is 9.65. He's fast, agile and quick.
This is the kind of player that can play a Taysom Hill type role. He has the athleticism to do it.
