Since 2005, the Spartans have had 7, 5, 7, 10, 10, 10, 12, 8, 9, 8, 8, 10, 11 and 11 white starters. The Spartans look to start 10 in 2019.

Brian Lewerke had a very down 2018 season - apparently he had a shoulder injury he was unable to recover from last year. All reports are that he looks to be 100% healthy and will revert to the 2017 version of himself. It's a make or break year for him as a prospect so hopefully he improves.

The defense features 2 of the best players in the country - DE Kenny Willekes and LB Joe Bachie - they should lead a dominant defense in 2019 and be high round picks.

Players to look out for are QB Rocky Lombardi, WR Brandon Sowards, TE Noah Davis, DE Drew Beesly, DE Zach Slade, LB Ed Warriner

Offense
QB - Brian Lewerke
TE - Matt Dotson
LT - Cole Chewins
C - Matt Allen
RG - Kevin Jarvis
RT - AJ Arcuri

Defense
DE - Kenny Willekes
DT - Mike Panasiuk
DE - Jacub Panasiuk
LB - Joe Bachie

I think the Big 10 is the only conference I might tune into a little this year. Michigan state is interesting enough once again.

Thanks Leonardfan.

QB Brian Lewerke is now a senior ( time flies) so it is make or break time for him returning from an off year mainly due to injuries. He is one of the more athletic QBs in college so I hope he shines.

This team has been the antithesis of what I term "Queer Ball." A term referring to the mainly black defenses who play in conferences where black offenses go up and down the field unbothered by defenses. Games where scores like 59-49 are typical.

The offensive skill players put up huge stats and the defenses are heralded for the occasional turnover. Everyone seems happy.

Funny how these fly up and down the field offenses are stopped dead in their tracks when they come up against a defense like the Spartans. One dotted with good old fashioned tough white players.

As mentioned above Bachie and Willekes are old school barroom brawlers, the last people you want to confront in a dark alley. In short my kind of football players. Sadly these type of defensive players are being whittled out in favor of black cutesy pie types who perform well in testing drills at those heavily black high school camps. But they can't tackle, aren't physical and couldn't diagnose a play if it landed on them.

WR Brandon Sowards should see plenty of action. But as I mentioned in another post it is a terrible shame that 4.4 speedster Jase Bowen backed off his commitment to play pro baseball. Which will probably turn out to be a dumb move.

One of these days I should make a list of white football stars who opted for baseball and failed miserably. That will be a very long list.

Mark Dantonio retired yesterday. My guess is it was more due to the scandals than anything. As you can see he was a pretty white friendly coach so we will probably see a drop off in white starters for the Spartans moving forward.

Always liked Dantonio. Definitely the end of an era for The Spartans.

Yea he wasn't a caste buster but he always fielded some very competitive teams that played real football and always had blue-collar, lunch-pail overachievers. I always viewed him as a lesser version of Ferentz (it's going to be tough when he decides to step down).

Sounds like Mel Tucker might pull a Willie Taggert and have a mediocre season in the pac 12 and manage to catapult himself to a more nationally recognized school / conference.

MSU focusing on him or caste stooge Luke fickrell from Cincinnati

Rumor has it Brett Bielema has interest in the MSU job. It would not be the worst thing in the world as he led a white friendly Badgers program and was very successful during his tenure in Madison.

It'd be interesting to see what he does if he ends up back in The Big Ten. Had high hopes for him at Arkansas, kind of fizzled out there.

Obviously Tucker could turn out to be a full scale caste clown. But I think it is too early to come to a complete conclusion. Dantonio has my respect because he played a lot of front seven white talent. By the same token his offenses were very caste apart from an athletic white QB.

Tucker did play up to three or so white defensive players at Colorado this past season so I am willing to take the wait and see approach. But yes chances are he could lean more caste than Dantonio who was a great defensive coach who had no idea how to run an offense.

He will bring in black quarterbacks and turn it into another Illinois. He will ignore recruiting in state or white kids from the midwest. All of these teams recruiting blacks from Florida, Texas and California should supposedly have an even advantage since by their caste logic they are recruiting the best athletes yet there is a ton of disparity among these teams and a minimal amount of parity.

Dantonio at least recruited pretty fairly along the defensive front seven (as you mention) and although black quarterbacks were recruited I do not think one took a meaningful snap during his tenure. Claimjumper called it. I don't think Tucker will do much at Michigan St.
