Mbappe is a piece of garbage. I’m glad the Uruguayans called him out for his faking injury.

The worst part of this WC has been the ludicrous histrionics from a lot of the teams...

So the best thing we can hope for is a White vs Mystery Meat final. I think'll it be Brazil v Croatia...

This 15 minute podcast by Colin Liddell, a very perceptive writer on a variety of issues, echoes a lot of the sentiment expressed in this thread. The first part of the broadcast is about his site, his views on the World Cup start around the two minute mark. There is also a link to Caste Football provided.

Neymar is an overrated show-pony, a monumental liability. He certainly has been in this match so far...

Belgium looking like the team mostly likely to stop France. I don't think any of the teams on the other side of the draw, with the possible exception of Croatia, can beat France.

That was a great match, watched it start to finish. Very happy to see Brazil eliminated. They didn't play badly, constantly on the attack, but Belgium held on. De Bruyne with that incredible (what turned out to be) game winner, and Curtois clearly man of the match. He had several critical saves, including one of the saves of the tournament on Neymar in stoppage time.

Yes, only Belgium can beat France in my estimation as well. You can count Russia and Sweden out if they somehow make it to the final. Even Croatia would have a very hard time.

Croatia-Belgium followed by Sweden-Belgium would be the ideal final.

Correct, De Bruyne with a nice game winner and incrediable goal play by Curtois. But all Fox Sports can fawn over is the big african imported into Belgium. MSM never fails to hype negroes.

This was my first entire game watched at home due to injury at Lake Havasu. I sustained a grade 2 calf strain, one away from a complete tear. Don, I remember you suffering a similar injury whilst playing tennis. It felt like I was shot in the calf. How long does it take to heal up?

I never went to a doctor so don't know if it was a bad strain or a tear. All I know is that it hurt like hell for a while, I'd say about 10 days before it began healing up nicely. I remember a friend saying to take long baths in epsom salt, which I did for a few days. Maybe do a search on some other home remedies, sometimes they help sometimes not.

Thanks, I went to Youtube and found some help from some PT guys. They recommended across the fiber massages with fingers and ice compresses. They seem to work. Its getting better but it wreaked my week-long Lake Havasu trip. Just glad I did not tear it!

I'm mortified that France beat Uruguay but I concur with comments elsewhere that the game was a losing battle as Cavani's injury turned the match even before it started. The Two French Goals:

Varane, Griezmann

Great save though by Loris

Here

The bright side is that its an all Euro tournament now,so that makes a good case for more slots for Euro teams in the planned expansions.

Goals from the Brazil-Belgium game:

0-1 - Fernandinho (og) (13')

0-2 - Kevin De Bruyne (31')

1-2 - Renato Augusto (76')

Glad to see the mutts head out

including one of the saves of the tournament on Neymar in stoppage time

It was really great.

Good riddance to Neymar and his stupid play-acting!!!

Deserved a yellow card

So anyone but England now?

Belgium look favourites.

Not to hijack this thread, but I had this strain in my groin muscle, I remember getting it and immediately noticing a rush of blood to the area and I was sore for about 6 weeks and didn't exercise for months for fear of possibly tearing it. Getting old if you do sports isn't fun....

So all but one of England's many goals this World Cup have been scored by white players?? Imagine how good England would be if they had more of them playing! England up 1-0, and Sweden have looked pretty toothless so far. I'm thinking it'll be England/Croatia. Hopefully Croatia can win that match and we don't have sit through a "Western European" Final... A Final in which Europeans would be the minority on the pitch.... I'd rather cheer for "England" than either "France" or "Belgium." At least in the U.S. Mbappe and Pogba are France's team, and Lukaku is apparently the only "Belgian" worthy of mention, despite Hazard, De Bruyne, and Curtois being the core of the team and the best players in the side. At least with England, Kane and the other white players are the team. And besides, with Belgium's new starting XI, I really don't think it matters if one cheers for a team with 6 whites or 5 starting....

In regards to Brazil, I'm happy to see that arrogant, diving team out. Good match-winner from De Bruyne. Neymar is VERY overrated, and it was nice to see the pouting brat get sent home.

How worthless is Sterling?? My goodness, he's had two great chances, and screws them up in a way that defies logic.

Alt-lite conservatives are now defending the caste system. I wish we could get Tommy's opinion on this

The Swedes can't score. Even their goal in the last game was from a deflection.

Pickford's having a good World Cup.

What a disaster this World Cup is. The only thing that'll save it is a Croatia win. The first three semi-finalists happen to be the most "diverse" teams in Europe. The absolute worst-case scenario.

I wish I knew enough about soccer to comment on how this is happening but no way it's a coincidence. As if the most corrupt people on the planet are just going to decide to be honest and play fair for a month. Europe finds itself quickly turning into sub Saharan Africa, well let's at least make the goyim think that having more Africans in their countries will mean their soccer teams will be better. Soccer is like a religion to Europeans the same football is to Americans right?
