First game of the year!

Eagles Vs Falcons. Nick Foles looks like he is going to be the starter over the injured Wentz, he makes a great CATCH- early in the game on a trick play.

Z Ertz is making some great plays, so far 5-48 yards.

Matt Ryan is not having a good game.

Lack of a real preseason, with starters coddled until Game 1, means the offenses are going to be out of sync for awhile.

Over 200 yds. of penalties combined - What garbage.
After all the hits the NFL has been taking with the kneelers and the generally declining popularity, they really needed a strong opening night. Instead they got a boring, penalty filled dud. Even Uncle Crissy and Rabbi Michaels were lamenting penalty after penalty. These two Caste Veterans couldn’t even put lipstick on this pig.

Delaying the game for lightning is another example of the pussification of America. The “dangers” of lightning. Apparently 16 Americans were killed by lightning in 2017. Considering the fact that lightning is an ubiquitous, continuous weather phenomenon, it poses virtually no threat to humans.

My 1st half summary I posted to GAB:

1st game of #NFL season is delayed 45 minutes because of a little rain. Follow that up with 65% diversity on the field and a 6 to 3 score, a snooze fest at half. To top it off we get #Nike's open borders, pro Muslim, black power propaganda commercial featuring Kaepernick to kick off halftime. All this ******** is why people are #BoycottNFL.

The game was so bad the Philly fans were booing at times -- booing the home opener of the defending Super Bowl champions! Fash Anonymous' point above about the starters playing so little in the preseason is a good one, we'll see if the rest of the games this week stink like last night's dud did.

With a 13.4/5 in the metered markets, the post-midnight ending game is down 8% from last year’s kickoff of September 7, 2017. In one of the lowest season openers ratingswise and facing portions of a cable news-covered rally by a very NFL critical President Donald Trump, last night’s game is not only down from last year, but 2016, 2015 and 2014 – all of which saw successive declines.

To add more injury to that, the 2017 8:42 PM ET-starting season opener between the victorious Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots ended up with a weak 7.7/29 rating among adults 18-49 and 21.8 million viewers. That was a double digit decline from 2016 and the worst total audience an opening game had since 2009.

Even in a TV landscape where ratings and viewership are noticeably dipping, unless you are This Is Us or Game Of Thrones, those results have to worry the NFL and the broadcasters, especially the still Rupert Murdoch-owned Fox with its pricey Thursday Night Football debuting this year

I know some of us here dislike DE Chris Long, but he was a force this game ending up with 4 tackles, and 1.5 Sacks.
I will always laud his performance in this corrupt NFL. But in person, I would inform him that he is a dumbass with all respect regarding his SJW clap trap. Total moronic thinking in his skull.

Falcons Safety Keanu Neal tore his ACL .Out for season. Not like ATL would ever sign a white DB..

Have to say was dissapointed in Falcons Snow Plow last night, underwhelming effort. They should get better as season goes on, Philly uas a good D. Also Falcons have legit problems in the red zone. Move the ball all over the field but can't score.

Riley McCarron Active for Patriots today but no Chad Hansen disappointing but not surprising as only been there for a few days to know the system.

Sony Michel inactive which means hopefully big match for Burkhead!

Also Vikings have Zylstra active along with Thielen should be a good watch in the UK live on sky sports especially with Smith and Senjedo at safety giving a masterclass!

Lol Texans seriously thought read option attack would work in NFL. Limited success, there's a reason why it only works in College.

O'Brien is about 6 years behind .

Two affletic WRs for the Jaguars dropped perfectly thrown balls by Bortles.
