Freethinker
Hall of Famer
Here are the White starters and overall roster for the 2018 Houston Texans:
QB – Brandon Weeden
TE – Ryan Griffin
C – Nick Martin
G – Greg Mancz
DE – J.J. Watt
LB – Brian Peters
Special teams: P Trevor Daniel, K Ka’imi Fairbairn*, LS Jon Weeks
*Some Hawai’ian mutt
LB Ben Heeney is on the injured reserve but he’s a kneeler so screw him. TE Matt Lengel is on the practice squad.
Head cuck….I mean coach, Bill O’Brien has turned The Texans from one of the Whitest teams to one of the blackest in 4 short years. His overall record of 31-33 is the definition of mediocrity and shows the team is not better with a darker complexion. This year the team is in Steeler / Raider / Jack Del Rio territory with single digit Whites. Whatever fairness we thought we saw with O’Brien at NE and then Penn State was clearly an illusion or a product of others.
Ryan Griffin is a good TE but has never topped 500 yards receiving. Maybe he can break out? JJ Watt is one of the best defensive lineman to ever play the game but after 2 injury plagued seasons, one wonders if he can return to his former dominate self. Seeing the 3-time Defensive Player of the Year return to the tackling, sacking, pass swatting monster would be the only compelling reason to watch the Texans this year. Otherwise, I hope they crash and burn.
Total White starters: 3 (-1 from 2017)
Total Whites on 53-man roster: 8 or 9 (-5 from 2017)
Grade: F-
