GB will add 1 more white starter in DE Dean Lowry! This comes after former starter DE Wilkerson (won't even try spelling his first name) suffered a season ending injury.

GB joins slim company as the 6th team with 3 or more white starters on D which is pretty good in this day and age. The others are the Bills, Cowboys, Vikings, Bengals, and Broncos.

Good news for Lowry as long as he can hold off Montravius behind him, Lowry had 32tkls and 2sks in 11 starts last year I believe he can top that this season!

Keep an eye on Jason Spriggs at RT and Lucas Patrick at RG going forward. GB is not happy with Sumo McCray and now's he's injured. So is Bulaga again .

Pack also signed an OL in Fordham's Anthony Coyle to their PS. 6'5 300 4yr starter at LT in college.

Dan Vitale! Aw I remember him running the ball for NW, he could've at the very least been a good goal-line back for an NFL team.

Packers' pre-season star wide receiver Jake Kumerow, who was eligible to come off IR last week, might've caught a huge break, as it appears the Packers #3 receiver has a fairly significant injury and he could also be placed on IR.

Throw in the fact that Randall Cobb is struggling (even the DWF's wanted him to be traded) and two of the three Packers rookie draft picks at WR draft picks have been total garbage. Sixth rounder Marquez Valdes has done a good job, displaying size and speed -- same traits as Kumerow, who is a first cousin of the Bosa brothers.

While most here at CF were happy to see the Packers trade the RB from Stanford after he fumbled away any chance the team had to win at Los Angeles, that move could bite Kumerow on the rear, as it might mean the Pack could activate Trevor Davis instead?

Below is a pretty fair breakdown of Kumerow's predicament before news of Allison's injury. It looked bleak then. Now he has chance, but he might need help from SJW QB Aaron Rodgers, who heavily praised Jake during the pre-season....He might need to talk the cuckster McCarthy into activating him over the KR/PR who is a terrible receiver:

Geronimo Molasses and his 4.7 speed has a significant injury. Luckily, the Packers stashed Kumerow and can activate the taller, faster (4.54 40 at 6’4”), more productive receiver and make a run at the playoffs.

My opinion on Cobb, very good lateral routes, a total scrub if sent vertical on a route as the Pack found out when Superman from Kansas went out one year and they had no WR threat for vertical routes. You put the ball in Cobb's hands he is a decent runner but honestly I can damn near be as effective down the field on a route. I place a lot of this mediocrity on the coaches, when a team can get pressure with 4 and drop 7 it's basically a clusterduck for the Pack

Green Bay is toast. McCarthy likely out after this season..

Forget Kumerow and Janis, pack are going to reactivate the bum Trevor Davis. An average returner and below average WR. He's fast and affletic though!

Some good news...perhaps?

Hopefully Jake plays Sunday Night against the Vikings. Time is running short this season and he probably needs to post decent numbers, at his age, to really get a serious look next pre-season.

Jake Kumerow is eligible to play this week in Minnesota. #Packers have 21 days to decide whether to put him on active roster, keep him on IR or release him. The third option would be least likely.

The Packers have activated WR/preseason star Jake Kumerow off IR to practice. So that's it for IR-return spots. Teams get two and they already used one on Trevor Davis. If Kumerow ends up playing, all of Wisconsin will rejoice. https://es.pn/2R1j9B7

Kyler Sackrell on the rise? The return of Touchdown Jesus himself Jake Kumerow (who Rodgers seemed to trust in camp)? Look out NFL, Packers winning the Superbowl confirmed.

If Kumerow plays that's great news!

Anyone been following the Rodgers Family drama?! Younger bro Jordan called out ARod for donating 1 million to battle wildfires but not being able to call his own parents and ask about their well being..

There were some snide comments about Kumerow on that twitter account. That would never happen to a black player. A double standard.

Jordy Nelson defends Aaron Rodgers from the sniping Rodgers is taking from three black former teammates. The biggest reason Rodgers struggled last year was losing Jordy Nelson. And it's likely that Rodgers publicly lauding Jake Kumerow last training camp didn't set well with the brotherhood, as the unknown, "nobody" Kumerow was outplaying all the "real" receivers on the team.

Jordy Nelson: Rodgers criticism 'doesn't make sense'

No wide receiver has been targeted more by Aaron Rodgers over the years than Jordy Nelson. He's apparently grown tired of seeing his former quarterback the target of criticism from other former teammates.

"Everyone knows negativity sells," Nelson said in an interview on ESPN Wisconsin earlier this week. "People don't want to hear (the good). People feel better about themselves when they hear bad things about other people. And that's why that gets more pub.

"I mean, no one wants to hear that Aaron's not only obviously a great quarterback but a great leader and does everything right. All right, there's your story. What fun is that? So whenever they can, they go back to the well and get the same people to say the same stuff."

Nelson, who played for the Raiders last year after 10 seasons alongside Rodgers with the Packers, was specifically referring to Greg Jennings and Jermichael Finley, incidentally two of Rodgers' favorite targets when Nelson was coming up in Green Bay. The trio spent five years together, winning Super Bowl XLV thanks to an MVP performance from Rodgers.

But Jennings, an analyst on Fox Sports, and Finley, who recently said Rodgers had "a trust issue" with teammates, have been outspoken about the difficulty of playing with the All-Pro quarterback since leaving Green Bay in 2012 and 2013, respectively.

Two weeks ago, former Packers defensive end Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila joined the fray by calling Rodgers "arrogant" in an interview with Forbes.

"I think if you look, there's two guys -- now three -- saying it, compared to the hundreds that are saying the opposite," Nelson said. "It doesn't make sense. I think it's comical when I read those comments."

In the wake of consecutive losing seasons and Green Bay's first coaching change of Rodgers' career, the two-time MVP is being scrutinized like never before, with questions arising about how coachable he is. Nelson was adamant about the answer but acknowledged why some players might have a different perspective.

"I don't want to have to be on the phone and defend Aaron," Nelson added. "He's a great leader, we all believe that and believed that and still do. He's hard on people, he demands a lot, but he demands a lot from himself. And I think any great quarterback out there does the same thing.

"They all have different expectations. If the expectations are to go out on Sunday and have fun and then go home, then you're not with the right quarterback. (Rodgers') expectations are to go out there and be successful, make plays, win ballgames and win championships. That's the level he's going to hold you to. If you don't want to be held to that level, then play your couple years there and move on to another team."
