David Sills with two long TDs in the first half. Looked like Jordy 2.0 with a double move beating the CB like a rented mule for a 63 yard score. WV crushing Baylor 34-0!

Nice to see Sills continue to dominate!

Ouellete has had a solid career for Ohio! Crucial for him to stay healthy and finish 2018 strong.

Still watching the Ohio Bobcat game for one reason....
Jake Neatherton.....Redshirt freshman....Ouelette and Irons are graduating.
Next year could be Neatherton solo....Julian Ross has been injured, so he may share the duties next year..... With the entire 4th quarter to go, Jake should get some nice work in....
Looks good so far in the few carries he’s had......

Rockybleier - your knowledge on white RBs at the college level is amazing. Thank you for keeping all of us aware of all the white RBs out there!

Your namesake and his blatant shortcomings probably led me here years ago...
Watching him leap over defenders was amazing....A true stud running back....
Payton Hillis and Toby Gerhart were awesome to watch, but so were Zach Zwinak and Mark Weisman.....Danny Woodhead was, as others have noted, the Wes Welker to running backs of this past generation........Who else knows who Luke Lippincott is/was????? Thanks man

Cody Thompson showed out with 3 TD’s! Riley Miller and Andrew Meyer each caught a touchdown in the Ohio vs BSU matchup

Thanks for the updated RB stats!

YES Luke Lippincott was at Nevada & remember Chance Kretschmer before him ? He became just the second freshman in NCAA history to lead the nation in rushing, finishing with 1,732 yards. He averaged 157.5 yards per game and in the season finale against UTEP, he rushed for 327 yards and six touchdowns –Soph. season knee injury from cheap shot out of bounds by BYU. Had 3,782 yards in his career. Ended up being a Rancher.

Luke Staley was one of CFB's Top Backs from BYU(Won Doak Walker Award)...Knee injuries messed things up

As a kid guys like Blake Ezor; Scott Lockwood; Sammy Martin; Brad Muster; Gil Fenerty; Alex Smith; Brett Law all caught my attention. Scott Greene too...

22, Luke Staley may have been my all time favorite.....I really thought he had a chance in the NFL.....I bet you he regrets not playing his senior year......Why come out early if you’re not going to be drafted (Nall)?....Staley was taken late by the Lions, while Nall was passed on......Staley would have crushed that year........Lots of us thought that the new OSU coach may have casted Nall out of the backfield, so coming out was smart......I don’t feel that way anymore...He’s one less RB that we are not able to watch.

Everyone should get BC vs Miami tonight.....

1. Can Glines still get 10 carries now Dillon is supposedly back?
2. BC’s D vs quota1 or quota2.......

Iowa vs Penn St on Saturday, 3:30

Two big games, both on BSPN

Typically the Thursday and Friday night games are underwhelming in terms of a breakout performance but it was nice to see the college football week start off on a positive note most notably the 5-139-2 numbers from David Sills. He had been in stall mode and was desperate for a breakout game so I am pleased about that. Much relieved.

Cody Thompson hasn't been over 100 yards for a while but he has been racking up the TDs see above.

This Iowa team reminds me in make up of the 2002 Ohio State National Championship team. Basically seven or even eight white starters on defense. That team had stars MLB Matt Wilhelm and DT Tim Anderson. DE Simon Fraser was in a regular platoon. And stud back up LBs AJ Hawk and Bobby Carpenter were on the team as well as DL Mike Kudla. There was also starting safety Donnie Nickey. And most important of them all was CB Dustin Fox. It was such a thrill watching them beat caste Miami to win it all.

Iowa has essentially the same defensive outlay of that Ohio State team with a white S and white CB( Riley Moss). As noted above big game at Penn State this Saturday.

Speaking of RBs Noah Cottrell had a 3-21 stat line as GT surprisingly romped over V Tech at home no less. V Tech is playing a freshman LB full time now in Dax Hollifield #25.

I know there’s been talk on here about the impact that Justus Parker has had and if he’s been starting, I’ve maintained that he’s just been locking down his receivers all season and this shows that! His stats are extremely low compared to last year but he isn’t able to make plays when they don’t throw his way.
i asked that same question earlier this season based on my knowledge of cornerback play, even though i haven’t watched any Tech games ... turns out my hunch was correct. yay me!

Any sense of what Riley Moss's long-term starter status is both for the rest of the season and the future?

Bucky,

Sounds like Jack Coan is going to start for Wisconsin this week. Interesting development - have to wonder if this is going to be an audition for the job. Hornibrook just doesn't seem to have the ability to be a consistent QB.

GREAT opportunity for Coan!

Should be a good matchup at noon tomorrow. Interested to see Nagel vs an inexperienced Wisconsin secondary.

No carries for Glines this far.

Relegated to third string.....Sickens me......Nothing...
Zach Allen and the BC defense made this game tolerable.
Coming off of an injury, Dillon had 32 carries for 149 yards
Freshman backup was 5-14......,Thanks BC
Glines couldn’t have had 10 carries?????

After the Britain Covey catch...announcer says "a New England type receiver; Slot guy; great sense of space; Utah coaches compared him to Wes Welker"....Covey throws TD pass as i typed this!

Zach Allen showed again tonight why he's a Future 1st Rounder in the NFL!

Ben Glines earned the right to get some carries tonight. 2nd stringer just 5 carries

Nice game by Britain Covey

7-yard TD pass
A 19-yard rush
5 catches for 47 yards
And 2 punt returns for 66 yards (one for 36, one for 30).

Against a pretty coal-UCLA team.
