Just a quick word about the Northern Illinois- Western Michigan game last night. I missed most of it.Before I get to that I have noticed yet another member MIA for a prolonged period of time--Dolphin. His specialty was High School football.

Anyway I noticed that defensive edge star Sutton Smith recorded 4 SACKS plus a TFL. Plus he recovered a fumble and ran it 85 yards for a TD! Because of his size he isn't a DE in the strictest sense but if you want to see NFL scores go down the NFL should draft players like Smith. His speed and quickness and agility is just too much for offenses to handle. He better get a Combine invite. I am planning on making a list of players who aren't shoe ins for the Combine that should be invited and he is definitely one of them. I have him graded as a first to third round pick. Stud of a player.

Western Michigan had several white defenders on the field last night including S Justin Tranquill younger brother of Notre Dame's Drue. Also ex RB speedy Alex Grace plays LB.

Riley Miller quietly put up a solid season stat line of 61-878-7. Also I believe Sutton Smith should be drafted as a middle linebacker, he’s a hell of an athlete and has the perfect size and athleticism for the position. There was talk last year of teams doing that with Hercules Mata’afa who was an undersized DL last year in the draft.

WAY to GO!! Cole Fagan (Air Force) 34 carries for 260 yards & TD TODAY vs. Colorado State!!

Nick Fitzgerald in 3rd qtr ... 90 yards rushing & 2 TD's + 63 yards passing & TD...announcers think he could be Tight End in the NFL.

Ole Miss TE Dawson Knox should be on NFL Radar

Yeah Sutton Smith is the Real Deal!

Nick Fitzgerald now runs more than his throw, will that help his stock in the draft?

Ole Miss better play Matt Corral more, Ta'amu having no more juice there.

!NEW GUY ALERT!

Colorado State gave true freshman safety Quinn Brinnon his first start and he responded with 10 tackles 1 tfl. He’ll be a guy to watch on a team that has gotten very dark recently.

157 players assessed with unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in yesterday's (Rotten) Egg Bowl (between Miss St and New Miss). This is what it's come to.

I'm glad Miss St won as they were already bowl-bound but New Miss was 5-6 going into the game and would've been bowl-bound if they had won. So, that's one less SEC team to suffer through during the bowl season.

What a season for the speedy Scott Miller. He’s over 1000 yards for the season and has a TD today already!

Fagan’s monster day yesterday left him just a few yards short of 1000 yards rushing for the year....Air Force fullbacks could run for 2400 yards and still not get drafted, but hopefully he’ll have another good year next year....Along with Remsberg and maybe Nolan Eriksen...AJO is playing for Ohio this afternoon.....Tune in if you can....He only needs a few more carries for 1000 yards rushing for the year.....

Iowa vs Nebraska is on now, too......Riley Moss was starting.....

Ian Eriksen (Eastern Mich, for the newcomers) ripped a 45 yard run. Puts him over 50 before halftime.....Glad to see him come back from whatever injury he had.....

Miller finished with a 4-115-2 stat line today in a loss. Looks like he smoked a DB for a long TD which he has been doing consistently for three years. He finished the season with a staggering 71-1148-9 stat line. These stats are out of this world for a slot receiver as he averaged a bulky 16.2 yards per catch which is very high for any receiver let alone a slot.

As a TTU fan he reminds me of Keke Coutee, both put up incredible stats from the slot and are undersized but with plenty of speed to burn on the outside as well. Not sure how NFL scouts see him but I hope he gets drafted.

Announcers are talking about Cincinnati TE Josiah Deguara saying that he has NFL potential. He has 400+ yards on the season and was a prolific WR in high school. A little undersized at 6’3 242lbs but they were comparing his route running and athleticism to former Cincinnati TE Travis Kelce.

Too bad you aren't a front office NFL guy Red because Coutee was selected in the 4th round and was the 103rd overall pick. And Coutee of course was invited to the NFL combine. And was drooled over. Will they treat Miller in a similar fashion? At the moment I don't feel one ounce of confidence he will which will be arguably the biggest shame of all come combine time.

Miller is being casually ignored by all of the gurus and as far as I can tell he is still considered a fringe prospect at best. Which is terribly unfair given his consistent production for three years. Much like Andy Isabella Miller blew up his senior year for a bad team. What more does he have to prove?

The NFL has consistently avoided inviting smallish speedy white players to the combine and heaven forbid they invite a player like Miller and he burns a 40 yard dash. Can't have "too many white players" burning rubber. It might force the NFL to be fair to white skill players.

The NFL seems intent on keeping white players in their place and away from having "too many white" speedsters in the league at once.

Yep, I hope he plays in Mizzou's Bowl Game.

I read that Elway was in attendance. If he drafts Lock he better dump Vance Joseph and get a coach who can develop Lock. Bringing back Kubiak as a Qb coach after Joseph is fired would not be such a bad idea.

Sadly, UCF Jr QB and Heisman hopeful, McKenzie Milton, had to be carted off the field and taken to the hospital due to a gruesome leg injury. Hopefully, he's able to make a full recovery and be ready to play next year.

Sooners vs WVU

Refs are blind to ignore targeting/fumble/roughing the passer calls, and they did remember to call Sills V THAT PI.......

David Sills another TD Catch...Big time NFL stuff right there! Not bad for "still learning the position"! 5 receptions for 88 yards & 2 TD's late 2nd Qtr.

Snowing like crazy at the Wazzu / U W game.
