Glad you mentioned Layman. After two unmemorable seasons where I figured he might get booted from the NBA Layman has rebounded and is having his best season by far. In fact he was starting for a spell but noticed he scored those 20 points off the bench in limited minutes no less.

Seen as a passive player even in college Layman is a terrific athlete who can really leap. Want to add many white players are deemed "passive" and one of the main reasons is conditioning. Black players take to being ball hogs naturally as white players are more reticent and team oriented.

Portland is a strange team. Heavy white presence but dominated by two typical black back court ball hog scorers. But C Nurkic has picked it up this season and talented back up C Zach Collins is still a work in progress but still has big potential.

Sadly Nik Stauskas who left Michigan as a sophomore is having perhaps his worst season. A journeyman at this juncture he would have been a household name if he stayed at Michigan all four years.

Also too bad ex Blazer Pat Connaughton is suffering through a similarly poor season with the Bucks. To be fair to these bench warmers it is hard to find a groove when your minutes are sparsely arranged form game to game.

Just 24, whether Layman proceed to improve is still up in the air since his rise in play has been only recently, but it would be nice to see him become a solid NBA starter type. We need as many "athletic" white players to make noise in the NBA as possible.

Thanks for sharing.

The content creator makes a very compelling argument. I’d like to see Luka make the all star team and the playoffs in addition to winning rookie of the year. That would give him a huge head start on many, if not all, the all time greats.

Doncic with his first triple double of his career today against the Bucks. He has 18, 11 and 10 in a loss. He continues to amaze but Dallas needs a few more pieces. He has at least made
them an average team after they were horrible last year.

Storybook Rookie Season for Doncic continues!

Noticed Joe Harris has improved every year since entering the League. Scored 19 and 7reb today against Sac. Kurucs added 16pts.

Bogdanovic scored 22pts, 11assists, and 6reb.

Vucevic had a monster game 29pts and 14 Reb along with 2blocks!

Mirotic had 21pts and 6 rebounds.

Marc Gasol had 22pts, 8reb, and 6 assists.

Markannen had 13pts and 8rebounds. Good to see him back.

8 White scorers in the top 50 thru 10 games:

Mirotic 22.4
Gallinari 19.8
Doncic 19.4
Love 19.0
Vucevic 18.3
Jokic 18.0
Redick 17.9
Dragic 17.7

6/8 are Euros, and the 2 Americans are over age 30. (6/8 players’ names end with “ic(k)”.)

Love is injured, so will be dropping off the list. Luka Doncic has been the most impressive rookie, looks to be the real deal. Overall, confirmation that the NBA is a black league.

Nearing the 50 game mark, not much has changed other than Mirotic, Love and Dragic dropping out of the scoring leaders due to injury. Now only 5 White scorers remain in the top 50:

Vucevic 20.5
Doncic 20.0
Jokic 19.6
Gallinari 19.0
Redick 18.4

Doncic does it again with another near triple double. He had 32 pts, 8 rebounds and 8 assists in a nice win over the Detroit Pistons. His teammate Kleber who is from Germany also had
12 pts and 4 blocks. They call Kleber the "German Shepard" as he protects the rim. He had a few more but was called for fouls on clean blocks in my opinion.

Back to Doncic. had is in the top 5 ever for teenagers with 30 pt games in their rookie season. He now has five 30 pt games this year with a little over a month to play. The guy is a legitimate
superstar and Dallas is in great hands for the future with Nowtizki soon to retire. I'm so excited to see Doncic in the All Star Game. I would be shocked if he didn't make it!

Another guy that deserves to be an all star is Nikola Jokic who had yet another triple double tonight. He had 32 pts, 18 rebounds and 10 assists. The guy should be even
considered in the mvp race as he has Denver playing outstanding basketball and is a superstar while being a great leader. Plumlee also had 17 pts in around 20 minutes off
the bench.

Doncic with the triple double last night, 35/ 12 rebounds/ 10 assists. Doncic 19, becomes the first teenager in NBA history with two triple doubles! Also first teenager with a 30 point triple double!
Vuvevic, ORL. 19/17/5
Rubio, 18/8/4
Ingles 15/6
Zubac, LAL 24
Satoransky, WAS, 21/9/8
Bertans, SAS. 21
Bogdanovic, SAC. 19
Markkanen CHI. 21/15
Osman, CLE. 17/8

Might be worth watching if Love, Porzingis were healthy and Hayward was playing at the level he was before his injury.

I know we don't have alot of basketball fans here on this board but what Luka is doing is historic. Even Lebron never did things like this in his rookie year. The kid is 19 and he is toying with the best
basketball players in the world! I can't believe more people here are not excited about this. Hey Shadowlight, I know you had doubts about him but doubt no more. The guy is a superstar and a legitimate
mvp candidate for the next decade. He is amazing and can help to pave the way for more euro & american kids like him in the future just like Cmac in football. Take notice of greatness gentlemen! :)

Huge news. Porzingis has been traded to the Mavs and he will play with Doncic in the near future! Hope Mark Cuban and the Mavs sign him up for a long term contract after the season is over! Imagine
how good this team can be with two of the best young european basketball players to ever play the game of basketball. Exciting times indeed for the state of Texas.

Great trade by Dallas.

As a New Yorker, who would tune into the Knicks in recent years only to see KP, I’m a bit bummed out. However the Knicks are like the Jets in that they are woefully mismanaged and shoot themselves in the foot time and time again. It’s best for KP’s career to get out of NY where he’d be trapped on a cartoonishly inept franchise with almost no chance of winning a championship.

Don't blame Kristaps for wanting to get out of NYC. That new coach is a buffoon. Got fired from Memphis for not playing their best player in Marc Gasol. As for Dolan, we all know management stinks too.

Great Trade for Dallas indeed!

Is the Porzingis trade really good news?
Doncic and Porzingis were both the go-to guys on their teams.
Now they have to share that role . . . and share scoring; not only with each other, but with Hardaway Jr.
Is it better to have them be the super star on separate teams, or to be lesser stars on the same team?
Look what happened to Kevin Love when he left Minnesota.
I guess it will depend on how well the Mavs do as a team. If they go deep in the playoffs, then it's probably a good thing from an exposure point of view.

I like the trade. This is the best White frontcourt duo since Bird and McHale. You need at least two superstars on a team to compete for championships. Dallas clearly wins this trade because Dennis Smith, Jr is an undersized 2 guard who regressed this year and his ego could not play 2nd fiddle to Doncic. Porzingis can use a great distributor, and Doncic is an amazing passer. I think it’s a great match

Porzingis is a highlight reel when healthy, with an array of dunks, put backs, low post moves, 3-pointers, blocked shots, etc, he can do it all. But health and durability is a concern, especially so early in his career.

Some 7-foot plus guys tend to have lots of ankle/foot issues, those joints just can’t handle a body that size and the rigors of NBA basketball. But there are also those like Nowitzki, Ilgauskas, Rik Smits, etc, who have had long, productive careers. Porzingis may never play 82 games, but if he can fully recover from his ACL injury and get back to all-star form, he and Doncic could form an incredible duo that can lead the Mavs to championships.

With Luka, you can see very clearly that he can lead a team, he’s a legit #1. I always got the sense Porzingis is more of a #2 guy when talking about needing to have 2 stars on your team to win titles. This trade could work very well in the long run.

It’s a dam shame Luka Doncic was snubbed out of the All Star game especially when he’s having a historic rookie season.

First McCaffrey, and now Luka!

With regards to the Unicorn trade, I am closely monitoring this situation because of the recent things that has happened to their (((owner))).

Mark Cuban has received heat once again from the race-baiting double standard Marxist media for stating young European basketball players learn how to play basketball while young American basketball players learn how to dunk and put together mixtapes.

Dallas has a lottery pick in next year’s draft, and it will be interesting if they do decide to draft someone like a Luka Samanic.

With the addition of a young exceptional talent such as a Luka Samanic, potential future MVP caliber players in 19 y/o Luka Doncic and a healthy 23 y/o Kristaps Porzingis, and then a very solid rim protector such as the German Shepherd, Maxi Kleber. The Dallas Mavericks may potentially become the New England Patriots of Caste Football’s NBA!

Mavs could sign Bogdan Bogdanovic this offseason, he's damn near a 50-40-90 shooter. Could be their Klay Thompson. They could also sign Vucevic instead but not sure if they should, not sure if he's putting up empty stats on a contract year.

They need to unload the iso ball chucker Harrison Barnes somehow, he's way overpaid and a black hole on offense. I think the other guys they got in their trade are on expiring contracts within the next season or 2. Tim Hardaway Jr might be a great fit with Doncic. He's a good off ball player and playing with Doncic (and KP a great stretch 4/5) will get him open for good shots improving his shooting percentages.

Everything's predicated on how well Porzingis will return from his injury and how well he holds up thereafter. But his ceiling is a taller, more explosive Dirk that's also a great rim protector. And Luka is a generational talent. I'm excited for this team.

Edit: also the Mavs pick is only top 5 protected otherwise it goes to the Hawks. Luka might play balls to the wall now that he doesn't have to play nice with Dennis Smith Jr (so they could shop him), and apparently KP is actually healthy enough to play and might play sooner rather than later. I think they're 23-28 right now, so they should end up with 30 wins at the minimum and lose their pick, it's even likely they will finish with a better record than several East playoff teams.

Yes Doncic deserved to be an All Star. The whole world knows that and it's a crime but let's look at the bright side.

One of the greatest players to ever play made his 14th an most likely last all star game. Dirk Nowitzki who has over 30'000 career pts.

Jokic make the all star team.

Vucevic made the all star team.

So we have 3 whites. Not great but a slight improvement over last year if my memory is right.

Doncic will be so pissed about being left off. I would not want to even try to guard him in the last part
of the season. As if the guy isn't good enough already averaging over 20 pts per game with 6 rebounds & 5 assists per night.
He also has 2 triple doubles and has come close to many others. He will tear up the league over the last 30 games!

Dallas has become the team to watch going forward. Kleber is a very talented player who can also block shots almost as
good as Porzingis. These 2 will guard the paint and they both can score inside or outside to go with Doncic. What a team. Give
us one or two more of our guys and it would be even better. I like the Pats comparison. Hoping the mavs will be a 50/50 mix
of players next years and make the playoffs! That would be amazing!
