Since '05, Penn State has had 8, 10, 9, 8, 12, 10,8,10, 9, 10, 8 and 8 white players. In 2017 they are projected to start 8 .
McSorley was one of the most dynamic QBs in the Big 10 last season - probably the best overall QB in the conference. He is backed up by Tommy Stevens who had a great spring game. Brandon Smith and Jake Cooper should both see plenty of snaps at LB and the OL is still a pretty fluid situation. Gesicki is one of the nation's top TEs. PSU is a palatable team in the Big 10 Easten Division and would be nice to see them push Ohio St. from the top spot.
Players to watch out for are QB Tommy Stevens, TE Nick Bowers, OL Will Fries, OL Mike Miranda, LB Brandon Smith, LB Jake Cooper
Offense
QB - Trace McSorley
TE - Mike Gesicki
LT - Ryan Bates
LG - Brandon Mahon
C - Connor McGovern
RG - Andrew Nelson
Defense
DT - Parker Cothren
DE - Ryan Buchholz
