Since 2006 LSU has started 7, 6, 4, 5, 5, 4, 6, 5,4,3 and 4 whites since 2006. In 2017 they are projected to start 5.
Gone is Les Miles who lost his job due to his mismanagement of the quarterback position - opting for black quarterbacks. Ed Orgeron does not appear to be a much better coach from a caste perspective. He did land a big time QB recruit in Myles Brennan who should thrive in new OC Matt Canada's system either whenever he sees the field.
