The Indianapolis Colts finished last season with a record of 8-8. HC Chuck Pagano enters his 6th season with the Colts. The Colts are predicted to go 9-7 in 2017.
On Offense, QB Andrew Luck will hope to continue where he left off last year, posting 4,240 passing yds for 31 TD's/13 int, he also rushed 64 times for 341 yds and 2 TD's! Luck is a legitimate top5 QB at 27 yrs old, he's probably the most well-rounded QB in the league. He's also one of the better running QB's in the NFL. QB Scott Tollzien is listed as the no. 2 QB, beating out quotback Jacoby Brissett.. At TE Jack Doyle will start, following a nice 2016 season he posted 59 rec for 584 yds and 5 TD's. With Dwayne Allen gone, Doyle is the main man! Terrible depth at TE. The Colts O-Line will be 4/5 white this season! LT Anthony Castonzo is the heart and soul of the line. C Ryan Kelly started last season as a Rookie from Alabama, will be key this year! Not much depth at o-line, with only Schwenke, and Haeg in 2-deep.
On Defense, DE Henry Anderson from Stanford is listed as a starter, injuries derailed him last season, but he looks to wreak havoc this year! The backup DE will be Margus Hunt, hailing from Estonia he's a mountain at 6'8 298 lbs. Hunt should see plenty of snaps, even some at DT.. John Simon is listed as the starting SLB, signed from the Texans this summer he posted 51 total tackles and 3.5 sacks last year on limited playing time. Starters in bold.
Offense
QB- Andrew Luck, Scott Tolzien
TE- Jack Doyle, Henry Krieger-Coble
LT- Anthony Castonzo
LG- Jeremy Vujnovich, Kyle Kalis
C- Ryan Kelly, Mike Person
RT- Joe Haeg
Deffense
DE- Henry Anderson, Margus Hunt
SLB- John Simon
Special Teams
K- Adam Vinatieri
P- Mestizo Rigoberto Sanchez
LS- Luke Rhodes
Total starters- 8
Whites on 53-man roster- 16
Overall- The Colts look decent at first glance. Luck, Doyle, and a 4/5 O-Line look nice. 2 white starters, and another coming off the bench on D could be worse. If they can manage to keep all their starters, the Colts could be a team to support!
