Kurt Warner and K Morten Andersen made it, along with Ladainian Tomlinson, Jason Taylor and Terrell Davis.

I always thought Warner was a borderline hall of famer but am certainly glad to see him get in. It's usually only the black borderline players who make it, with Terrell Davis being a good example as he had a short career due to injuries. Andersen is a deserving choice.

Two White players out of five is pretty good these days. Jerry Jones also made it as a senior committee choice.

Terrell Davis is not a hall of famer. He had a good four year run and injuries derailed his career. If Davis is a Hall of Famer than Mike Alstott should be a HOFer considering his production out of the Fullback position.

Surprised but happy Kurt Warner made it. He along with Peyton Manning were the two QBs that are the face of the wide open pass friendly NFL. His career was remarkable as he was an afterthought that emerged out of no where to lead the Rams greatest show on turf, was eventually thrown aside and found a second wind in Arizona.

I actually think Davis deserved the honor because of his brilliance for 4 years and then his essentially sudden career ending injury that caused him to be pedestrian. Also his enshrinement helps guys like Boselli who had similar career trajectories.

Ps. since the hall is now slowly letting in non glory positions like kicker and punter the voters need to redefine the criteria for electing fullbacks as Alstott aside no fullback has accumulated anything close to the stats to get into Canton by the old definition of a fullback ie Riggins, Brown, Taylor etc. If the voters used their collective heads guys like the Moose, Lerenzo Neal and others could receive traction and Alstott would probably get in at least as a seniors committee inductee.

I forgot to mention in the last week the T Yo getting snubbed drama which has been petering out. It amazes me that when a guy is an a hole to everyone that he is in contact with finds it amazing that nobody has any sympathy when they have the ability to hold his grandiose ego in check. I suspect this drama will have further chapters every Super Bowl weekend for many years to come as there is a fairly entrenched block of voters who have told T Yo to sit on it and rotate.....https://buffalonews.com/2017/02/10/...ell-owens-into-the-pro-football-hall-of-fame/
