Yes indeed..been looking forward to this match up Ryan Nall vs. Bryce Love; after Nall rushed for 172 yards two weeks ago & had last Sat. off. Hopefully WR Trent Irwin can finally have a break-out game!

Northern Illinois DE Sutton Smith(playing w Gronk arm-brace) is a beast said the announcer! Former RB/DB is a terror on the edges at just 225lbs (leads Nation/Tackles for Loss & 3rd in Nation in Sacks! )
Chad Beebe coming off a 124 yard recieving game last week...returns punts....Eastern Michigan RB Ian Eriksen has been bottled up so far &RB Blake Banham getting a few carries
EMU Rover Back Brody Hoying just got injured

Ian Eriksen off to a slow start this evening.....glad he's been getting first team reps....
Go Nall.....Love probably would've had 1000 yards rushing against OSU and their horrid D....

Nall is easily an NFL RB. He is alot of fun to watch. Glad to see Nall being utilized properly.

Yeah he's a Future NFL Caliber RB..No doubt! Like that Oregon State's new interim coach had him run a play out of the "Wildcat" formation too...picked up 13 yards ; after the nice 20 yard gain.

Trey Quinn will be playing tonight for SMU - looking forward to seeing how many catches he racks up tonight.

I'm hoping another 15lol since he's on Friday Night Lights and it's my first time watching him live on TV!

Lol Free Shoes is losing to BC 28-3. Gotta love it. The QB line for both teams is beyond atrocious - good thing those black quarterbacks have so much upside though.

Final black quarterback stats in BC's 35-3 win:
FSU - James Blackman 11/26 102 yards 0 td 1 int
BC - Anthony Brown 6/20 54 yards 1 td 0 int

Trey Quinn finished with 8 receptions for 101 yards & 2 TD's....the catch thrown behind him on sideline was NFL-esk....earlier announcers said he watches a lot of film on Edelman & Welker

Ben Hicks had 338 yards passing & 2 TD's

Riley Ferguson threw for 298 yards & 3 TD's + 2 rushing TD's

Ian Eriksen finished with 81 yards rushing on 18 carries Thurs. Night
QB Marcus Childers 278 yards passing 2 TD's + 54 yards rushing
Tough break for Ryan Nall late in the game; finished w 84 yards rushing on 19 carries
WR Trent Irwin had abt a 40 yard TD catch called back bec of Holding call

Here is a quick run down of some of the games today:

Oklahoma St - West Virginia - two of the best QBs in the country face off in Will Grier and Mason Rudolph. David Sills will also be on display and will hopefully continue his march towards becoming the all time TD leader for a season among WRs in NCAA history. Also the more I read about Grier - the more I like the kid. I am hoping both he and Sills stay for their senior seasons in 2018. Grier is a 1st round QB and Sills may just be a 1st round WR before all is said and done.

Penn St - Ohio St - big game with playoff implications - the media is doing it's best to try to get Ohio St back into the top 4. A win by PSU will effectively eliminate OSU from the playoff conversation. Trace McSorely does not get near enough credit by all the "analysts". He is a good QB - the best in the Big 10. I hate OSU but they have Bosa and Hubbard - two absolute beasts on the DL.

TCU - Iowa St. - I would just like to see TCU lose this game and get removed from the playoff conversation. I hate Gary Patterson and the coal teams he has put together. Iowa St. has looked better since Kyle Kempt (the former walk on who is getting playing time as a senior) took over at QB. Trever Ryen is a good offensive weapon for the Cyclones and Joel Lanning - the best two way player in the country is fun to watch.

NC State - Notre Dame - Not much to really root for here - I just want to see Kelly knocked out of the playoff picture. Ryan Finley has yet to throw an INT this season in 248 pass attempts this season and his overall streak is 300 attempts going back to last year. I hope NC State wins.

Michigan St - Northwestern - Should be a good one. Solid defense on both sides. The Lewerke kid for MSU is growing on me as a gamer type. Michigan St. has the ability to inject itself into the playoff conversation. Northwestern is fun to watch though too. Either way it should be an entertaining game.

Minnesota - Iowa - Fleck has put a black quarterback in for the Gophers so I hope the Iowa defense crushes them. Josey Jewell should be back for this game.

Texas Tech - Oklahoma - Mayfield can continue to ascend up the Heisman ranks even though the media has all but given the award to Barkley while we are still in October.

USC - Arizona St. - Darnold should be able to shred the ASU defense. It irks me how he is getting blamed for being turnover prone and the reason for the Trojans issues on offense. He is the best QB in the land.

Last night my Comcast went down as my remote froze and it took me a good 45 minutes on the phone to get the TV working again. Talk about agitation as I was in the middle of watching SMU and the WS and bits of BC.
It is always nice to see a caste riddled team like Florida State, a team I have long despised get their asses handed to them by a team that at least has some white presence, especially on the front seven on D, like BC.
Earlier posts mentioned the RB's from Thursday night. Ian Ericksen could become a late round draft pick in 2019 but at this point just wild conjecture. Not a bad looking player with strength and burst.
Ryan Nall should get drafted albeit I suspect it will be in the later rounds. It will be interesting to see how fast he runs the 40 yard dash if he gets invited to the NFL combine either in 2018 or 2019.
Now for the prize. The story of WR Trey Quinn has been much repeated here but his failure at LSU I think was in part or perhaps because of their caste layout. I tend to think white high school football skill players (RB,WR,CB) that attend high schools with say 20-30% blacks for the most part
never get a chance to play those positions. A wall is put up and the white athletes from these type of schools either try Lacrosse et. or just melt into the backgrounds. I am not even talking about schools with 50% blacks or more where white skilled athletes completely disappear from sports like basketball and football.
That said I could never get a read on Quinn while he was at LSU, another ultra caste team I have despised for years. Quinn was the very rare white WR who came into his freshman season ranked as a top 20 high school WR.
I have seen him play in chunks this year but last night without a bunch of other college games to watch at the same time I got a great look and let me just say this guy is the REAL DEAL.
While he didn't catch a ton of balls like the previous few weeks he was stellar with two TD's and a catch 22 references above that was mind boggling.
He looks stronger than he did at LSU and is extremely buttery smooth with quick acceleration and tremendous route running skills and top of the line hands. He is a slot who can get deep and reminds me a bit of Adam Thielen.
Since he is a fourth year player as a junior he should declare, like CM did, after the season. He has nothing to gain staying at SMU one more season.
My projection as a pro is he will become a future star. That said I place him anywhere between the second round(highest projection) to the sixth round (lowest projection). So most likely outcome is he gets selected in the third round but I also see him climbing so all bets are off. If he is invited to the combine my guess is his 40 time will be between 4.42 and 4.52. If he runs a 4.4 he should get selected very high. If he actually burns a low 40 time (4.40-4.45) he could squeeze into the first round. He looks better than all the white WR's drafted this past season. He is a GREAT prospect with NFL star potential.

I think Quinn needs to stay. During the broadcast last night all I heard the announcers talk about was how the black WR Sutton was a future NFL player. I did not hear that regarding Quinn - I heard the same old tired "compliments" about him being a tireless worker. Sutton is the only one getting any sort of attention from the "experts". Sure this can all change if Quinn submits for an early entry draft grade but if he is not a 2nd/3rd rounder than he should stay and next season prove his is better than Sutton (who is probably going to be another bust). As for Quinn's tenure at LSU - one only has to see who was under center to realize why his production was not what it should of been.

As for BC beating FSU - I did not watch the game but saw that DE Zach Allen had a good game as did LB Ty Schwab. I don't understand how Landry is getting all this hype as a top 3 overall pick - he missed the game last night and the BC defense held Free Shoes to 3 points.

Hatie inserts the "future of the program" black quarterback and on his first attempt he throws an INT.

But it won't matter for Hatie...he'll have long leash to prove himself as a college head football coach. He's the "Hue Jackson" of college football.

It's a shame that someone as talented as Shane Buechele has to ride the bench, but he get's the start today with Sam Ehlinger out:

Early in the 3rd Qtr:
Buechele 15/20 154 yards 1 TD 0 INT and 6 rushes for 50 yards and a TD

It's amazing to me that the media and probably Herman view him as nothing more than an afterthought after a very good true freshman year. The kid is talented. I kind of hope he transfers. Both he and Ehlinger will probably get bypassed by a black quarterback at Texas. It would not surprise me.
