Week 7 kicked off on Wednesday and saw Troy get upset by South Alabama. This was the same Troy team that upset LSU earlier this year.
Tonight Clemson faces Syracuse - their black quarterback is injured but sounds like he will play. Syracuse does have a good QB - Eric Dungey who may be able to give Clemson a scare tonight. An upset would be a nice way to kick off the weekend.
Washington St. faces off against Cal in what should be a good game. I hope Falk continues his impressive play since the hiccup with Boise St. I hope Laird gets alot of carries tonight as well.
Some games of interest tomorrow:
TCU vs. Kansas St - Hopefully Ertz is back in the lineup this week. TCU has not been an overly impressive offensive team this year and KSU usually plays good football and has defeated hyped black quarterbacks like Geno Smiff and the Gremlin. I think they have a good shot to defeat TCU with Ertz healthy.
Texas Tech vs. WVU - Hopefully Grier continues his great season and Sills catches a few more TDs tomorrow
Rutgers vs. Illinois - Epstein and Dudek should put up big numbers tomorrow.
Oklahoma vs. Texas - Mayfield needs to have a big game as the "experts" are beginning to question his next level projections even though he is having a great season. They are saying that he makes to many plays off script and improvises - the same things that got 2 black quarterbacks drafted in the first round last year.
Ok St vs. Baylor - Mason Rudolph needs another strong game to also quiet many of the "experts" doubting him as a first rounder.
Ohio St. vs Nebraska - hopefully the Cornhuskers can pull off this upset.
Utah vs. USC - Everyone is criticizing Darnold which is laughable. He has his team at 5-1. He is one of if not the best QBs college football.
