Patrick Laird went over 1000 yards for the season with his 178 yards against UCLA the other day.

2017: 191 rushes for 1127 yards, 5.9 ypc, 8 TD; 45 rec for 322 yards, 7.2 ypc, 1 TD for a total of 1449 total yards. Too bad they just missed out on a bowl game. In college ball that counts towards the season totals. He may have gotten @1600 total yards or more if so.

No chance for ND to be in the playoffs now.

At 14:48 of the third quarter in the Clemson-South Carolina game, there are 8 black South Carolina defensive players surrounding Hunter Renfrow. One second later, at 14:47, there are 3 South Carolina defensive players immediately behind Hunter Renfrow. The defensive players are all in position to tackle Hunter. Hunter Renfrow evades them all.

This is an example of Renfrow's excellent athleticism, which allows him to make those tacklers miss him. The play shows Hunter's ability to change direction very quickly and his speed as he out ran the defensive players who were RIGHT behind him. That is a big time play. Big time athleticism against what are seen as the most athletic defenses(SEC) in all of college football.

Never truly happy but unlike the previous two weeks I am in a much better mood after week 13. Firstly I am so glad Bama got their asses handed it to them and just like last year when I said Penn State deserved to be in the Final Four and not Ohio State , Bama is in a similar position as Ohio State was and the Buckeyes got destroyed by Clemson. Sorry ******* Saban your team had a weak schedule and got pushed around by the only top 15 team they played. And I put more weight on late season games so if they shove Bama in it is strictly a caste move. Get lost and not only that Saban that prick didn't even play LB Holcombe who has been real solid all year long. Nice job. Now go and play UCF in a bowl somewhere.

My top 10. 1-Wisconsin 2-Clemson 3-Oklahoma 4-Auburn 5-Georgia 6-Ohio State 7-USC 8-Penn State 9-Alabama 10 TCU

Nebraska is hankering for ex star Scott Frost. His undefeated team just beat USF in a game that like the Missouri/Arkansas tilt, I would describe as QUEER BALL. What is that? It is all black defenses running around aimlessly as the other team's skill players put up gigantic numbers that the NFL scouts swallow whole. It has been trending in college the past several years especially in the BIG 12 and I don't like it one bit.
So to me Frost seems like an amplified version of wet noodle caste lover Mike Riley and that is the LAST thing Nebraska needs.
I want them to go back to Tom Osborne (one of the greatest coaches of all time) basics and that means hard tough physical offenses and defenses that play like demons from hell. In other words lets say they hire hum--Shadowlight for HC. First thing I do is recruit the farm kids and my defense would be at least half white just like the good old days. I want players who can diagnose plays and attack with energy, pride and toughness. Like Northwestern's stud LB Paddy Fisher. People forget how FEROCIOUS the old Nebraska defenses were back when. Let Florida get a hold of Frost and let Nebraska get someone who understands WHAT MAKES NEBRASKA TICK. I feel sorry for the Nebraska fans the greatest and most loyal in College Football. They deserve much better.

Georgia destroyed GT but as noted above Noah Cottrell had a nice 33 yard run that the officials had to "take a look at" which was ridiculous. Noah finished the season with a 33-271 stat line and that is over 8 yards a carry. More importantly in November he really came on averaging over 12 a carry! Look for him to play a bigger role in his junior season. With his blinding speed I hope he gets to have some real splash plays next season. WR Brad Stewart will be back to as a starting WR and PR.

Ohio State won a big one against Michigan. Winovich had a sack and a half for the Wolverines (all of a sudden the Harbaugh mystique has wilted) but the big story of the game was once again the studs on the Ohio State D. Bosa had a sack and LB Tuff Borland started and had 6 solid tackles. Sam Hubbard put on a SHOW. 2.5 sacks including a strip. Very pleased because the NFL scouts are monitoring him closely and this performance should give his rising NFL stock an even bigger boost.

Speaking of defenses once again Michigan State way laid a team and so did Wisconsin, Northwestern, Iowa and Kansas State. What do these defenses have in common. They are anti QUEER BALL and feature KEY WHITE defenders.

I see BYU is using QB Kafentzis as a RB and he has been performing well. Nice 18-98 stat line in a win. Hawaii WR Dylan Collie had a nice stat line of 6-103.

But the best part of course was the WR's in general had good showings.
See the videos above to see why most of us here think Hunter Renfrow will be playing on Sundays. I almost freaked out because a flag was thrown during the play and negating a great white play has become standard issue but it turned out it was a face mask. So Hunter dodged and dashed by the ENTIRE black SC defense while he got face masked. Put a star on that one!!
Nice to see freshman WR Mannix finally have a decent game again with a 7-109 stat line in a rare win for Nevada.
Another freshman lost in the shuffle is Dillon Stoner who had a great splash play in a 70 yard plus TD catch and run and he finished off the season with a solid 40-541-5 stat line.
Sills has stalled especially without Grier but at least a 3-77 stat line isn't awful.
Last but not least is Trey Quinn as noted above, had a terrific game in a win. See below his stellar long TD.

I do watch College Football Final - that is the only show I watch on BSPN. All of the sudden they are giving Wisconsin respect.

Saban is now campaigning for a spot in the playoff after this loss - they are out of the Conference Championship game, had a weak schedule. No way Ohio St. or Alabama should be in the playoff. Clemson shouldn't even be top 5 after their loss to 4-8 Syracuse. Clemson's weak link is the QB - UGA, Auburn, Oklahoma all have superior QBs. I think USC has an outside shot if they beat Stanford to crash the party - would love to see Darnold get in the playoff.

I think Frost is worth a wait-and-see. He's only in his second year at UCF and inherited a Caste team from George O'Leary. Unlike Riley, he offered a scholarship to fellow Nebraskan, Brett Kitrell, who was both the best OL and DL player of the year for the state of Nebraska - the exact kind of player you said Nebraska should be recruiting (and the kind Riley was ignoring). Kitrell ended up signing with Solich at Ohio (after bolting Minnesota once the previous coaching regime was let go). Frost also recruited dual-threat Nebraska "Player of the Year" QB, Noah Vedral, to play for him, and he is now on their roster. In addition, he recruited fellow Kearney, NE WR Alex Harris to play for him and is now on their roster. Interesting dynamic...a Florida coach recruiting Nebraska for players. In any case, I doubt at this day-and-age you'll ever see a "White-friendly" team from Florida, no matter who the coach is...only one that isn't total Caste.

OK this discussion can be crossed referenced with the College Football News section as well where I responded to Heretic's post. Thanks Heretic for pointing out Frost's recruiting and it does open the door to the idea he won't go full caste on like Riley. But I still have the reservations I mentioned above. Meanwhile it seems like the momentum is building towards Frost as the fan base gets all excited but to me I think Iowa State's Matt Campbell is the clear choice here. He has great character (not to get too detailed but he wins that battle between the two) and unlike Frost he played on the defensive line. Sounds unimportant but Campbell's emphasis on strong defensive play fits Nebraska like a glove. They should do everything under the sun to grab him.

TTU QB Nic Shimonek has on outside shot at 4000 yards for the season if he gets 453 yards in their bowl game. Somewhat realistic though as he had 543 earlier in the year against Arizona State and also had another 400 yard game. He no question would’ve had 4000 yards without a poor performance against TCU resulting also in a benching for the first 3 quarters of the Texas game.
