Since '05, A&M started 8, 9, 8, 7, 9, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, and 3 whites. This is a team that has seriously declined in its white starters and depth since its move to the SEC in 2012. 3 again in 2016 with no defensive starters or real depth.

Offense -
QB - Trevor Knight
LG - Colton Prater or Connor Lanfear
RT - Koda Martin

Defense -
None

Back ups include QB Jake Hubenak, WR Boone Neiderhofer, TE Tanner Schorp, LG Keaton Sutherland, and RT Justin Dworacyk.

Here may be a QB to lookout for in the future:

Fox Sports' Bruce Feldman is hearing a "ton of good buzz" about Texas A&M freshman QB Nick Starkel.

Feldman describes Starkel as a "strong-armed" passer. Oklahoma transfer Trevor kNight is clearly Texas A&M's starting quarterback this season. However, due to the transfers at the position, Starkel could be in line to start down the road. He was only rated as a three-star prospect out of high school.

Kevin Sumlin's Aggies have digressed each season, in direct correlation with their white purge. Trevor Knight at QB will not save Sumlin's job. I watched Knight for 3 years at Oklahoma. He couldn't beat out Blake Bell, who converted to TE when Baker Mayfield arrived. Knight reminds of Christian Ponder - he has "the look" and all the physical tools, but doesn't get it done on the field.

Knight is interesting as he torched the Alabama defense a few years back in a bowl game but was inconsistent his first year as full time starter. He is more of an athlete than a QB so it will be interesting to see what he does this season.

UPDATE on the goings-on at the Sumlin Plantation:

Colton Prater won the starting LG job. The black RG won the RT job in their latest scrimmage, so Koda Martin isn't a starter.

That opened up RG, which is where Connor Lanfear will start. If he doesn't do well enough, another White will likely be tried there. So, same number of starters, but both on the interior of the line.

A&M signed 3 white defensive players in the 2013' Class that would have been Juniors/Seniors this season...

LB Jordan Mastergiovanni left the team; started 8 games in 14'; was expected to be among the returning leaders in ...left the team (redshirted?)...back on the team according to new roster

Tough man D-End Jay Arnold (co-starter in 14') gave up football for injury concerns...

Jordan Points transfered to a community college...& got into big trouble

Not sure what happened to Tarleton State transfer LB-Jake Blount?? who got some playing time last season
