Here is your white starter for the Orange this year. Since 2005 Syracuse has started 7,6,7,8,9,8,9,8, 7, 4 and 3 whites. In 2016 they are projected to have 3 white starters.

Dino Babers was hired as the head coach after a successful stint at Bowling Green where he had a high scoring offense with white WRs and QBS. He was also head coach at Eastern Illinois and helped develop Jimmy Garoppolo. It will be interesting to see if he follows the track of the other MAC coaches who's careers where built on successful white players only to shun them as they climb the professional ladder. The difference here is Babers is black.

Players not projected as starters but appear on the depth chart are OT Cody Conway, LG Andrejas Duerig, C Taylor Hindy, OG Colin Byrne, QB Zach Mahoney, TE Tyler Provo, DL Trey Dunkelberger, DL Steven Clark, LB Kyle Kleinberg

Here are the projected starters for the Orange in 2016

Offense

QB Eric Dungey
C Jason Emerich

Defense
DE Jake Pikard

Another pathetic team. If Dino sticks to his roots and keeps some white guys around that'd be awesome. If he doesn't, it really can't get much worse. 3 white starters to me might as well be zero! If he does play some white guys he deserves credit as almost all the white coaches who rose up in the MAC have turned to be traitors and caste whores once given a better situation/school.

I'll give babers the benefit of the doubt this year as he probably inherited a lot of the recruits from the previous caste coach along with a black roster. Babers does seem to prefer white qbs as he has Rex Culpepper - son of former NFL player Brad Culpepper in the 2016 class and another really good white qb in 2017 (his name escapes me right now but I posted about him in the class of 2017 thread).

Nice! I saw a little bit of Tommy Devito airing it out in a 7 on 7 tourney on ESPN few days ago. Good looking QB.
