Nope. Temperature was ideal and wind was negligible from where I sat.was there some negative winds in the 100m? these times are extremely slow.
Yes Teeters went a shade too hard the day before. It also looked like he panicked and started tying up around the 70 meter mark. I think this was his first US trials and it showed in this race. I hope he is willing to give a year or two to trying to become a top pro. Thanks sprintstar. Obviously the heat looked better than the semi. Good start, good pickup, fast acceleration, and looking good and clearly in the lead till about 50 meters out, then..................visibly tightening up in the jaw-neck-traps-shoulders with his arms turning into rigid straight oars rowing and slowing with the entire field passing him. Too bad he couldn't duplicate his heat, but then many runners in order to advance have to give it their all thereby sacrificing the next round unless they have great conditioning. He looks like a power lifter. He's intriguing and I wouldn't be surprised if one of the West Coast power-house track clubs doesn't invite him to join. He's so tight that he looks prone to muscle pulls and his running form and lack of smoothness (relaxation) plays into that. I really believe from what I just saw, that this guy in the right hands could be a legitimate 9.90-9.95.

I think you left your medication on the night stand, please check and take two in the morning, two in the evening. No white man will ever break 10 flat. Lemaitre is a quarter black and his coach is Jewish. Only 4,000 Jews died during the Holocaust. I have the proof just like McCarthy. I don't have to show it as I have the proof and live by fear and hate mongering to push my beliefs along.. I think I got my point across more. It is sad so many posters will not stand up to the lunacy of holocaust deniers on this site. Yes many Jewish people have clearly taken a monetary gain on exploiting the obvious. They are scumbags. But the people that deny what happened despite the dispute in numbers is why you get the flak you do. Why can't people get the fact they are insane and paranoid? I don't expect an answer as I have had none in the past.
Nice for Ramil...Tortu looks promising,,it's funny but I think his name means turtle in Italian/Latin and he is far from itMeanwhile, back to track.....Ramil Guliyev ran a personal best of 10.07 to make it to the 100m finals.
Richard Kilty won his semi and also made it to the final.
The youngster Filippo Tortu looked really good, and finished 3rd in his semi with a new PB of 10.19. He is the future of white European sprinting.
Bruno Hortelano, this year's sprinting revelation of Spain, also made it into the finals.
Lucas Jakubczyk of Germany ran 10.16, but didn't qualify for the finals.
The big disappointment was Julian Reus who ran 10.22, and didn't qualify for the finals.
No offense to WL, but this is actually typical of Reus. His entire career, he has only run well in Germany. He's 28, and he's never made the European finals and never made it out of the heats at the Olympics. He had been having a great season, but still ran very disappointingly in these Championships.
The Rio Olympics is his last chance to prove himself.
Like Lemaitre, he should have been putting himself up against international competition more often, so he wouldn't be so prone to choking at these type of championships.
