Totally inexcusable pick by the ex-Pats while both Wright and Matakevich are still available. The front office of the ex-Pats have some explaining to do.

An undersized black LB at that. Since they picked up McLellin maybe they figure they need that athleticism that any black LB just inherently brings.

Patriots pass over Wright. Wright could come in and help them right away.

Scooby Wright is a perfect fit as a 3-4 inside backer. I can't believe he hasn't been drafted.

Surely, someone will take him in the seventh round.

At least they haven't drafted a Sumo on the OL during this draft.

This draft shouldn't affect their offense at all, and at least they've added McClellin and Long on defense. Most of the defensive players they've drafted won't be on the roster in two years.

Would've been nice though if they had drafted Scooby Wright or Matakavich on defense and Nelson Spruce on offense.

Even CBSSports.com has Matakevich going at #109 and Wright at 127. Those spots have long since passed. This needs to be explained logically by the so-called "expert" "analysts".

True. They added Markus Kuhn as well during the off-season... ;)

Pats had 9 picks overall - 2 are white olinemen. Piss poor draft by Bellichek but that's to be expected.

Another White pick by the Broncos, albeit a Punter, but I'll take it.

As of now, Braverman has only Eddie Royal and Marc Mariani to battle to be the Bears' slot receiver. Mariani unfortunately is used mainly as a kick returner, while Royal is very inconsistent and injury prone, so he could make an impact fairly quickly.

Bears draft Braverman.
The Bears have had some decent drafts over the past ten years with White players, their coaches have just refused to use them, or utilize them properly...

disappointing redskins pick with Matakevich and Wright on the board
Yep, totally unreal. You'd think that the Cards would draft him just for him playing for the Arizona Wildcats...
