Do you guys remember when Kansas was talented, and fairly White, under Mark Mangino? It was a blast watching RB Jake Sharp and WR Kerry Meier. The QB was pretty good too but I can't remember his name.

Oh well, those years feel like a lifetime ago compared to these awful Caste Squads.

How quickly a program can turn for the worse. For a few years KU was respectable and in correlation they had more white guys and recruited their geographic location better. Turner Gill comes in and set this program back to the dark ages, literally. No idea who's running the show now but it's clear to see why KU is a basketball school only with the boneheads in charge of the football program.

Yep Freethinker and Leonardfan, it does seem like a long time ago. 2008 was a pretty fun year for watching them on TV. I can remember getting excited, yelling, and even jumping up and down when Sharp was outrunning "the real affletes" and scoring TDs. I can't tell you the last time I did that while watching a college game.
