Since ’05, Boston College has started 10, 12, 13, 12, 13, 12, 11, 14 11 13 and 13 Whites.
Boston College has been a very consistent team in terms of starting numbers and are projected to start 13 in 2016.

Their coach Addazio seems hell bent on only recruiting black quarterbacks. Last year his recruiting methods came back to haunt him as BC had one of the most inept offenses in all of college football due to their QB play. Patrick Towles looks to change that - he was a 2 year starter at Kentucky and once touted as a first round pick before transferring. Look for Towles to jump up draft boards if he plays well this season. As for Addazio he is still recruiting black qbs almost exclusively.

Players to watch for include , WR/Athlete Troy Flutie, OL Ryan Conte, OL Sam Schmal, OL Joel Rich, OL Wyatt Knopfke TE Jake Burt, DT Ray Smith, DE Kevin Kavalec, LB Mike Strizak, LB Curt Bletzer

Offense

Boston College has games vs Louisville, Clemson and Free Shoes coming up this year. They have a very solid majority white defense which has been good for the most part this season. Addazio and the offensive coaches need to be more creative with the play calling instead of restraining Towles. It would be nice if they could pull out an upset vs. one of those three teams. Considering Clemson and Louisville both had supposedly great defenses but could not stop the other QB it will be interesting to see what BC does against each team.

Milano and Strachan are two of the best LBs no one talks about. Milano should be talked about as a potential playmaker at the next level with the trend of hybrid safety LB/S players being touted in the NFL.

This team is frustrating to watch as they always start a fair amount of white guys and a solid defense but an anemic offense. I hope BC can string together a few wins in conference but realistically I feel they'll be blown out against the teams you mentioned, 2 weeks ago VA Tech destroyed them 49-0..They maybe have an outside shot at keeping it interesting against FSU.. Milano and Strachan are next up as stars at LB for BC is right!
