Here are the White Knights starting for West Point this year. Army, along with Air Force, has been among the most white-friendly teams in the country. Since 2005, the White Knights (usually a more accurate description of the team) have had 15, 16, 16, 14, 13, 15, 13, 15, 14, 13, and 14 white starters. Like every other team in the country, Army is slowly but steadily blackening its roster, with only 11 white starters this year, including an all-black QB depth chart. Army sinks to an all-time low, and it doesn’t look like there’s any white depth in the offensive skill positions any more. Hell, even the TE position has two blacks on the two deep. Key backups: FB Cole Macek, RB Jon Trainor, the backup OL, DE Chandler Ramirez, DE Eddy Ruzga, RUSH James Nachtigal, MLB Scott Walshe, WLB Calen Holt, and FS Max Regan. This team is getting darker, but will probably hold its current level for a couple of seasons, due to all the white backups pretty much backing up the white starters. Very disappointing, to say the least, from Army.
