I was watching the AZ-UCLA game last night and this kid Lauri Markkanen is the real deal. Reminds me of a cross between Dirk and Porzingis. Has a silky smooth jumper, great 3-pt shooter, excellent footwork off the dribble to get his mid-range shot off, and of course has the athleticism as well, had 2 nice dunks last night, dominated that game.

He's being projected as a top 10 pick, could go top 5.

Markkanen is simply amazing. He can do anything on the court. Out of all of the white CBB prospects, I like him the best. He's the most pro ready out of any of them right now.

Also, that's great to hear about Northwestern! I know they've got Bryant McIntosh, but wasn't sure how many other whites they played. Wisconsin has gotten better as of late; Brevin Pritzl is getting a bigger role, and Alex Illikainen has been playing more minutes as well. I'm glad the Badgers got those bad games out of their system.

Vanderbilt lost a tough one today. However, it looks like they should be solidly in the field. They've got three white starters from what I noticed: Luke Kornet, and guards Riley LaChance and Nolan Cressler. They should be in, but I wouldn't be surprised if Vandy is the one team that gets "screwed" for some "strange" reason. You know, like what happened to St. Mary's last year?

Princeton and their three white starters survived today as well against Penn in the first every Ivy League tournament. Yale (with three white starters) also looks like they will knock off odious Harvard, which means they Ivy representative should be pretty white-friendly.

I'm being serious here: what in the hell does Matt Jones do for Duke to be a starter? After watching Duke the last few games, he's completely invisible when he's on the court. Other than being a senior, what's he done to deserve starting?

Duke is currently up four on the Irish, 38-34 at half times. Allen and Kennard have both been playing well. I still rank Duke among our top 2-3 options to win the Tournament. In the ACC Championship pregame show today, nearly all of the talk was about Allen and Kennard. It's completely obvious who needs to play well for Duke to win. Yes, Tatum has been playing great as well, but it's Kennard and Allen who need to play well. They're two of the most talented guards in the country, and I think it would be HUGE if they won the tournament, especially with how much people hate Allen. It would be nice to see him shut up his haters once again.

I do not like Jay Bilas the head color analyst for ESPN. Plain and simple. Beyond the fact he is dull he has always been a full caste whore hound. It is easy to overlook him at times because the man he replaced, Dick Vitale was and still is one of the most vile caste promoters in the history of sports TV. Vitale is still active on ESPN and has done numerous Kentucky games this season. He is an atrocity. But that said Bilas is not really the sort of upgrade we could appreciate. In Notre Dame's semifinal vs the "more athletic" -( F State has all black players Notre Dame has several white ones) Florida State, Matt Farrell converted an acrobatic twisting athletic lay up. Bilas droned on not about Farrell's body control or agility but said "this is what happens when you keep your eyes on the basket". Gee really Mr. Science? Bilas is just continuing the toxic caste approach that Vitale perfected. We can only hope Bilas will be on the chopping block when ESPN stops renewing contracts between now and early summer but I doubt it. The caste dudes seem to never leave.

Thank you!! I absolutely can't stand him. I'd rather have Bill Walton personally. He may be crazy, but he's good for a laugh every now and then, and will sometimes bust caste stereotypes. Like when his play-by-play guy tried comparing TJ Leaf to Kevin Love, he went off on him, asking him how Love and Leaf were similar players at all. He didn't inject race, but the guy was stunned and couldn't say much. Vitale and Bilas are the same guy. One is energetic and one is not. However, if you listen to both of them, you might think they're gay the way they describe Kentucky and Duke freshmen. It honestly sounds like Bilas is getting pleasure from saying things like "Tatum is so long and athletic." and "You don't see plays like that from anybody but Tatum, my goodness." "What a guy, he is just so built." I hope he knows how ridiculous he sounds.

If you want another old caste clown, how about Bill Raftery? He just proclaimed during the Big 10 Championship game that between Happ and Wagner, they "might have the lowest vertical in the nation for a center." Are you kidding me? I've heard dumb comments, but that makes me think that Raftery hasn't actually watched either of the teams this year and was just stereotyping, since Wagner is one of the most electric athletes in the country.

Wow just turned on the game, must have just missed his bigoted comment towards white athletes. He's another old coot that needs to be replaced ASAP.

Ethan Happ heating up! Up to 8pts and 6reb. Beautiful post footwork from the Badger Big Man! Michigan leading 33-32! Koenig with a deep three to end the half!

Happ and Koenig have both been playing well. I think Michigan will be much more palatable for us next year when permanently anointed starters (and ball hogs) Derrick Walton and Zak Irvin are finally gone. That should allow Robinson and Wagner to become much more involved in the offense, in addition to their two white freshman bigs playing more too.

Good win for Michigan. At least they have Wagner and Robinson as white starters. Badgers got royally screwed by the selection committee, they gave us an 8 seed! For comparison South Carolina received a 7 seed despite playing in the shitty SEC. On top of that they had 5 losses to teams outside of top 50..

I agree. I thought Wisconsin should've gotten much higher than an 8 - I was thinking a 6 for them. South Carolina will lose to Marquette though, if that's any consolation. I'll get the tourney thread started so we can discuss the brackets.

Glad Marquette and Northwestern for that matter got in! Both their HCs are products of Coach K coaching tree and are very white friendly/fair.

It looks like Northwestern will start Bryant McIntosh, and play 2 more for a good amount of time off the bench. Not the best, but still good enough for me to cheer for, especially given McIntosh is a stood, and there are too many all-black teams around.

Didn't realize McIntosh is NU's all time assist leader! He's been good since he walked onto the court as a Freshman!!

Indiana head coach, Tom Crean, fired. It's about damn time! Hopefully, they'll Whiten-up some in the near future and their fortunes will change for the better.

The ironic thing with Crean is that he built Indiana back up on the backs of good white players, actually having a lot of white-friendly teams 4-5 years ago. He then proceeded to eschew them once he had success. That makes his firing all the more satisfying.

Update on Lammers. After playing another great game, Ben has led Georgia Tech to the NIT final game. This time he scored 15 points, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks. If GT wins the championship by beating TCU, then Lammers would have a strong case for tournament MVP. Across the 4 games so far he's averaged 15 ppg, 9 rpg, 2.5 apg, 3 spg and a tourney leading 4.5 bpg!

I watched another game last night after I made this post, USC against Wyoming. Unfortunately, white-friendly Wyoming (who played 2-3 whites the whole time I was watching) wasn't quite able to knock off the undefeated Trojans, who feature freshman forward Nick Rakocevic. The Cowboys have two players I wanted to mention, senior guard Jason McManaman, and junior forward Hayden Dalton. McManaman, who had a team-high 23 points in the 94-92 OT loss. He's a pretty good athlete who's able to drive to the bucket and is also a good shooter. Dalton is a bit thin at 6'8 185, but this kid is long and athletic. I saw him make a bunch of impressive plays, including a run down block on a Trojan fast break, and hitting the game-tying three to send it into OT. He finished with 18 points, 18 rebounds, and 6 assists! This kid knows how to fill up a stat sheet, as last night was his fourth double double in a row. This is only the Cowboys' 3rd loss, so it looks like they're a team to cheer for in the Mountain West in addition to Boise State.

Jason McManamen isn't just a shooter!

Here's a video of that dunk from a couple of years ago:

Hayden Dalton going up for the block!
Wyoming won one of those alternative year end tournaments in convincing fashion over Coastal Carolina last night. Hayden Dalton was the star with 19 points and 11 rebounds.

Good to hear Wyoming is fair to whites on the hardware, and Dalton Sounds like a breakout star for the Pokes next season!! Any idea what the rest of their starting squad with look like? Noticed they had a 3* 6'10 220lb white PF committed for 2017, but it looks like he decommited come tourney time and Hunter Thompson(great name btw) will be at Creighton. Wyo still a program I have my eye on.

They've got two white commits in Hunter Thompson (did he decommit?) and Anthony Mack. They'll graduate one of their program's stalwarts in Jason McManaman though. They have Dalton and guard Jeremy Lieberman as seniors, as well as walk-on Cody Kelley at point guard. Wing Austin Mueller is also coming off of a redshirt, so the Pokes should have a fairly white-friendly squad, especially if Mack and Thompson contribute right away.

[QUOTE="Jack Lambert, post: 697012,

Thanks JL and sorry for the confusion article I initially saw is a year old. Thompson committed to Creighton in 2016, de-committed from there to sign with his home state shortly afterwards. Wyoming should be poised for a repeat MWC title!
