That was the most entertaining, up and down last hour of golf I can remember. And 21 year old Jordan Spieth has won the first two majors of the year.

So many plot lines going on, just an amazing final round.

I believe he's the youngest to win two majors since Gene Sarazen! Even though I wish DJ didn't 3-putt at the end, still a great final round!

But I thought golf wasn't going to survive without Tiger, according to the media. And with Spieth winning the U.S. Open, I'd say the Tiger era is officially over. Even if he still plays, he's done.

The contrast between Woods bumbling around the course, even hitting a grounder with a 3-wood at one point, and Spieth's masterful play couldn't be more stark. The media will never let go of Tiger, but Jordan is now a mega-star and golf is in a fantastic new era in which Spieth and McIlroy have won the last four majors and there are several other very talented young guns.

Jordan is great not only for golf but for the country. He's an old soul who does everything right. He's a "throwback" at a time when Whites are not supposed to be heroes, or legends, or even the best, at anything.

Well said Don.

There is really nothing to not like about Jordan and everyone I've come across views him favorably....so far. If someone "hates" Jordan Spieth, I think it will be an easy way for us to identify one of our adversaries. You'd really have to be either a Marxist, an Anti-White or just an overall miserable person to have something against this guy.
