12, 9, 9, 8, 11, 12, 10, 10, and 7 whites since 2006. Kentucky QB transfer Maxwell Smith should lead this team to a potential Mountain West title. Strangely, the Aztecs will start only one white player along their offensive line (due to a black player's suspension). They will increase to 8 whites this year. There are a number of mestizo starters along the o-line. Preseason all-mountain west LB Calvin Munson is one to watch out for.

Offense -
QB - Maxwell Smith
FB - Dakota Gordon
WR - Chase Favreau
TE - Daniel Brunskill
RG - Robert Craighead

Defense -
DE - Jon Sanchez
LB - Jake Fely
LB - Calvin Munson

Back ups who should see playing time include QB Christian Chapman, FB Sal Jeppi, TE David Wells, LG Ryan Krum, C Austin Maass, RT Joe Salcedo, DE Dakota Turner, and LB Ryan Dunn.

Glad to see Smith resurface in San Diego. I hope he has a strong senior season and can generate some interest as a draft pick.

How pathetic is it that I see three Whites listed as potentially starting on defense -- barely over 25% and including one named Sanchez -- and think "this could be a team worth rooting for."

JC transfer -- Kyle Kelley -- had 7.5 sacks in limited action last season: http://www.goaztecs.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/kyle_kelly_975110.html

JUNIOR SEASON (2015)
Played in the team’s only 14 games with two starts, collecting 24 tackles (15 solo) with nine tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, a pass breakup, a forced fumble, a blocked kick and eight quarterback hurries ... Led the team in quarterback hurries and ranked second in sacks despite starting only the final two games.

I remember him from when he signed with Arizona out of high school over several other big offers. He is projected to start at right defensive end this season.
