Since 2007, Oregon has started 6, 9, 10, 10, 9, 9, 5, and 8 white starters. It looks to be 8 again depending on position battle outcomes. QB Jeff Lockie will be battling for the starting position with EWU transfer Vernon Adams. The highly hyped transfer has yet to arrive on campus due to academic obligations. Hopefully, this will give Lockie the opportunity to end the seemingly endless stream of non-white QBs at Oregon.

This team has a decent amount of white depth and although 8 starters is far from great, the Ducks may are a perennial top-10 team and will probably end up being one of the teams we pull for. Additionally a starting position for LB Danny Mattingly is not out of the realm of possibility.

Offense -
QB - Jeff Lockie - in a battle for position
TE - Evan Baylis
LT - Tyler Johnstone
LG - Jake Pisarcik
C - Matt Hegarty
RG - Cameron Hunt

Defense -
NG - Alex Balducci
ILB - Joe Walker

Backs ups include QB Taylor Allie, TE Johnny Mundt, WR Zac Schuller, RT Matt Pierson, C Doug Brenner, LG Evan Voeller, LT Braden Eggert, ILB Danny Mattingly, and DE Henry Mondeaux.

It's a real shame that Oregon would rather import a quoataback rather than have an actual fair competition between Lockie and the quota back. The NCAA needs to look long and hard at the transfer process.

I think Oregons last starting white qb was Kellen Clemens. At least they do have some white players on defense and seem to churn out a decent number of white draft prospects.

Vernon Adams is being hyped up already. Luckily he does not have the size or arm strength to be considered a viable NFL qb. I am sure he going to miss throwing to the beast Cooper Kupp as well.

Adams was handed the starting job. I hope Oregon suffers for this decision.
