Really excited to see what Ryan Switzer can do as a junior. He's bulked up to 185 and is quick as a cat!

Braxton Berrios WR Miami is from the same mold as Switzer.

Looking forward to seeing Mullaney with Alabama as well!

Another Explosive playmaker...sophomore Tailback Christian McCaffrey-Stanford...think he has a future in the NFL like his dad Ed.

Yes indeed..some of us were high on Cottrell in the Class of 15' HS threads...good to see him getting early props with that speed! Only wish RB Brendan Douglas had stayed with his original commitment with Georgia Tech....instead of going to Georgia

Philip Rivers younger brother Stephen Rivers formerly of LSU and Vanderbilt will be transferring to Northwestern State. Hes huge 6'7 235 and this was news to me,because on hearing of NW State I discovered he will have an explosive playmaker in slot wr and return man Ed Eagan!

I wonder why he left LSU. The two black quarterbacks on the team are absolute garbage.

While LSU's QB's are their weakest link...Stephen Rivers struggled mightily while at Vanderbilt...NW Louisiana has produced a few NFL QB's from back in the day(Bobby ****rt & Craig Nall)...hopefully he can turn it around

Former Purdue qb Danny Etling transferred to Lsu. I still think Rivers would of performed better than the two Qbs on lsu's roster currently but at this point I just hope he plays well his senior season.

Do you know if Etling is immediately eligible? One of the QBs at LSU is suspended currently.

I think he has to sit out 2015. It's obvious LSU knows they are in trouble at the position though.

Mel Kiper has NDSU QB Carson Wentz rated as his third ranked QB prospect for 2016. High respect from this caste stooge. Wentz is a stud dual threat with size. Intriguing prospect. Also Zach Vraa standout wideout for NDSU is a valid prospect. He had 1500 yards last year and 15tds.

Ed Eagan

... explosive playmaker in slot wr and return man Ed Eagan!

Ed%20Eagan_zpsvxbyfqdq.jpg

Ed Eagan is VERY explosive. a former cornerback who has now moved to his more racially-appropriate position once the current head coach took over, Eagan has completely dominated the competition ... albeit he's done so in the relative obscurity of playing for Northwestern State of the Southland Conference.

last season as a junior, in only his second season of playing receiver Eagan's record-setting play as a receiver and returner won him unprecedented First-team All-Southland Conference honors in three capacities: as a receiver, punt returner and the offensive all-purpose player. that's simply unheard of!!!! he was also named a second-team FCS All-American.

Ed%20Eagan%202_zpsoexqlthd.jpg

Eagan ranked second nationally in FCS with 181 all-purpose yards per game, and shattered the single-season school receiving record with 73 catches, 19 more than the previous mark. He also broke single-season and career kickoff return records (1,045 and 2,125 respectively), and ranked 18th nationally in punt return average (10.0). he had a single-game high of 238 receiving yards on 10 catches against the very affletic secondary of #8-ranked McNeese State in a playoff loss (it was the nation's third-best FCS single-game total this season and fifth-best in Southland Conference history).

Ed%20Eagan%203_zpshbigs5co.jpg

[for his efforts in that game, including 63 punt return yards and 301 all-purpose yards, he was named National All-Purpose Player of the Week despite being on the losing team.]

the 5-10, 181-pounder from New Orleans-Holy Cross broke five individual school records, tied another, and contributed to 24 other individual and team records set last season by NSU.

Ed%20Eagan%201_zpschhwjjnc.jpg

here is a good breakdown of his performance from a profile piece:
"Ed showed he was among the elite guys across the country. He did it against an extremely strong schedule and he did it week in, week out, so he definitely deserves this kind of outstanding honor," said Demons' head coach Jay Thomas.

NSU went 6-6 against the 10th-toughest schedule among the 121 FCS teams, according to the weekly Sagarin Ratings used by USA Today. The Demons faced six opponents who either won conference titles (Baylor, Sam Houston State, Southeastern Louisiana), division crowns (Louisiana Tech, Southern) or reached the FCS playoffs (Stephen F. Austin, SLU, Sam Houston).

The Demons beat Conference USA West Division champion Louisiana Tech, FCS semifinalist and Southland co-champion Sam Houston, and SWAC West Division champion Southern, while falling to SLU 30-22, SFA 27-24 on a last-play field goal, and dropping two more games settled in the last minute, 34-27 to Missouri State and 35-28 to McNeese State.

His 908 receiving yards, including six touchdowns, and 73 catches came in an offense with a 56-44 percent run-pass ratio. His all-purpose yardage of 2,169 yards was posted on 94 fewer touches than the only player who had a better per-game average, first-team AP All-American Johnta' ****rt, a running back and return specialist from Prairie View.

Eagan ranked 17th in FCS with a 10.0 punt return average, including an 80-yard TD at SFA, and he was 36th in the country with a 23.2 kickoff return average. His 6.1 receptions per game were 24th nationally.

his 908 receiving yards missed the single-season school record by a mere 36 yards. His 2,169 all-purpose yards were second all-time at Northwestern State. he has 119 career receptions and is only eight away from breaking the career mark.

one "wonders" how such a dynamic, versatile talent ended up at lowly Northwestern State (or even why he was moved from cornerback) ... especially after seeing his high school highlight tape: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VIvRPwuA9KI

Awesome write up! We all know the only boys college recruiters want out of New Orleans or any city are the dark kind. Looking forward to EaganS senior year!

*Also draftdaddy.com had Eagan ranked as third best small school receiver prospect!

Lets hope his surgery and recovery of his gruesome injury were successful and he is back at full strength this year. He is the best dual threat in the country and should be higher on the heisman preseason favorites rankings.

Dont forget about Trey Quinn who set the all-time national receiving yardage record in high school. I read on the LSU website that he is indeed moving into the starting rotation.

I hope he plays well. He didn't do himself any favors committing to LSU with its current crop of crap black quarterbacks though. That will hurt his production for sure.

Don't forget Senior WR, Nelson Spruce:
serveimage

2014 Stats: 106rec/1198 yards, 11.2 Avg, 12 TD's

His quarterback, Sefo Luifau, is actually pretty decent and improved quite a bit last year - certainly not a scattershot black quarterback - and appears to be 1/2 Poly? 1/2 White. I think the name is misleading as he looks a little Whiter to me than Sam Bradford, or about the same.

Anyway, he was much improved last year and was obviously able to find Nelson quite often (with the 106 receptions), and should be even better this year. Hopefully, both will stay healthy for Nelson's sake.

5-foot-8, 165 pound, Utah true Freshman, Britain Covey, won the duties of punt returner and is vying for a spot at slot receiver.

http://www.ksl.com/?sid=35890199&ni...utahs-britain-covey-emerging-in-receiver-role

He's a Mormon and plans to go on his mission after this year, which is always another negative (from a football perspective) that we have to deal with...talented White players that go on to serve a two-year mission and not always end up playing again or at the same level or take a different direction in life afterwards.

Anyway, here are some of his rushing highlights from high school:
