WOW. JUST WOW. take a look at this scumbags mock draft predictions regarding Rbs, and look at the comments .,.. the outpouring support for the lack of recognition for Zach Zenner is amazing http://walterfootball.com/draft2015RB.php

granted, they cold be just a few people since some are anonoymous but the support is terrific

truly sorry about my ongoing rants in a row, but just have to get them out

It's extremely rare that a white runningback in college can be considered for the same position in the NFL. We've seen the knocks on Leonard, Gerhart, and now Zenner and Varga. Then you have the guys that are such athletic freaks that even the DWF's wouldn't consider them at any other position other than runningback. Those guys are Travis Jervey, one of the best athletes to ever play in the NFL yet was given almost zero opportunity. Luke Staley who would have been an animal but was cast aside and Woodhead who should be seeing more touches.

I wonder if Zenner is racially aware. If so, he should be REALLY PISSED OFF

Would have to agree on your points... but isn't gerhart listed as a runningback in the NFL?

Your view is too pessismistic, and while I fear the worst for Zenner being in the NFL ( ugh fullback), I try to maintain hope that Zenner will be a runningback and will have good opportunity (depending on what team)

I don't know, that's why I am urging anyone here that can contact Zenner, let him know the situation and have him DEMAND to be a RB. He cant be prejudiced out of a position he was born to play cuz hes white.

Yes, both Gerhart and Leonard are running backs in the NFL but if you read my post, both were considered tweeners or fullbacks in scouting reports.

those scouting reports were done by prejudiced "experts" who cannot accept a non-black runningback, and stereotypes non-blacks from playing certain positions, such as RB.

can we just have one decent expert who can look past race and see zenner as a potential quality tailback at the next level?

I watched some highlights of Zenner. They're saying that Zenner will run a 4.6. It seems to me he's faster than that.

Just found the East-West shrine game's rosters: http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000438219/article/2015-eastwest-shrine-game-rosters

My mistake * edit *

Now, there's no official fullbacks listed, so if they have Zenner play fullback instead of runningback, that would be an outrage!

EW shrine game is obviously second tier compared to Senior Bowl, but as someone here already pointed out, Ty Varga , a RB will play FB during that game, so maybe this is better for Zenner PERHAPS being able to play his true position instead of being stereotyped by the scum into playing FB.

Either way, this is good exposure for Zenner, I would believe. If he does play RB, I wonder how long will he get to play? Equal time as with the other 3 backs?

What the hey, Zenner 25 carries for 187 yards and 2 rush tds
3 catches for 70 yards and 1 td

Zenner!

PAT it's great to see new posters getting very fired up and outraged by the nonsense our guys face especially at certain positions. Zenner has Danny Woodhead's agent - probably one of the most savvy and smart agent signings I can really ever think of. Woodhead and his agent obviously know the score even if they do not speak in public about it. Zenner is bigger than Danny and played at the FCS level to Danny's D-2 time at Chadron state. I hope that this bodes well for Zach when navigating through all the racial bias that occurs leading up to the draft.

Those times are speculation. I can't see a 4.6 hand timed tailback being able to go to the house against a decent division 1 team like Nebraska. He has to be faster than that. http://www.castefootball.us/forums/showthread.php/16512-2015-NFL-Draft/page7

Ps a few pages back these two dorky DWF look a likes both thought Zenner could play tailback on Sundays and could even be a contributing tailback not just a guy who could win a bar bet 20+years down the road about him playing in the NFL....:biggrin1:

I think every non Black that plays tailback or corner back is racially aware of the stats of the league. The problem is that if you state anything about this problem for Whites and to a lesser extent other racial groups you could be labeled a Neo Nazi at worst and a malcontent at best and your pro career could be a failure to launch before it even begins. It would take a projected John Riggins type or a Roger Wherli to express the 1000 pound elephant in the room and be able to get away with it.

Ps if Mike Alstott had complained about the lack of touches he got under Chuckie even he would have been labelled a cancer or a malingerer and he would have been mothballed a few years earlier than he retired. Look what happened to Peyton Hillis in his second year in Cleveland and the subsequent views of him as he bounced from team to team.

The East-West Shrine game roster isn't all that great but it is far more palatable than the Senior bowl roster.

I counted 11 total D-line/Lbs invited to the game. Amazingly no white safety was apparently worthy of an invite to the game. I also do not think that Laskey has been invited to any of the all-star games for seniors.

In a bit of amusing news the once surefire first round QB Devin Gardner according to all the DWFs and media is going to be playing WR and will probably go undrafted ;)

Three really intriguing QB prospects in Dylan Thompson, Hutson Mason and Taylor Kelly will all play in the senior bowl. Thompson seems like a good developmental prospect - 4th/5th round, Mason has potential - he played in a run heavy offense but was able to make plays when called upon - he has all the tools of an NFL QB and Taylor Kelly had an injury hampered senior campaign but was better than Hundley as a dual threat and passing QB over the course of his career.

Zenner is playing for the West team, and I notice out of 4 running backs he is listed at the bottom behind a fullback from Oklahoma, Aaron Ripkowski.................. Not sure if that means anything, but just thought I point that out.

The 40 yard dash is a very specialized sprint. One can be super-fast, but time "slow" in the 40 if they don't have a practiced technique. If Zenner is smart, he will get a good sprint coach to help him with this, his start especially. I was able to knock over 2/10ths of a second off of my son's 40 time in a single afternoon (an hour or so, really), simply by having him work on correct starting (first 10 yards) technique.

Sounds like jameez will be doing pro. Everyone at BSPN must be giddy. The black quarterbacks being pushed this year are Hundley who is a late round talent at qb and winston who is a moron. I think the bucs will get marioTA and hopefully the jets get Jameez to give them another half retarded qb to go with smiff.

If the Bucs do draft Mariota then Glennon would probably be available in a trade. A smart quarterback needy team should jump on the opportunity.

Houston could use a quarterback. They should offer a first round pick for Glennon.

I think GLennon can be had for much less than a 1st rounder with the way the front offices view him. Hopefully Obrien won't be dumb enough to draft any black quarterback this year.

Glennon could be had for practically nothing , so could Barkley, Cousins, or Nassib. If you're a smart team that needs a qb that's who you would go for

I still believe Matt Barkley can be a franchise quarterback if given an opportunity. How does he go from the likely first overall pick of the draft when he was a junior at USC, to a designated career backup in the NFL, simply because he had an injury his senior season, when he also played behind a poor offensive line? As far as I'm concerned so far he's been written off as unfairly as was Tebow and now apparently Manziel, and a long list of other, lesser heralded White QBs.

Yes, ESPN is giddy over their projected #1 overall pick FHRITP Winston. The same folks are equally eager to explain how Manziel doesn't deserve to play in the NFL because of his character issues.

Notice that the official was laughing so hard at that clusterpuck that he fell over.

And FHRITP Winston's immediate high character reaction on the sideline:

I take solace in the fact that Jameez is going to be a mega-colossal bust. I will laugh at whatever team wrecks its future drafting this knucklehead. Meanwhile, we will get to hear the endless fawning over him. Here is some predictable bloviation from CFs favorite QB "expert" Todd McGay:

“If Winston is there, it’s the decision that every team at the top of the draft who needs a quarterback will have to make, it’s a really hard decision,†McShay said in a conference call Tuesday. “If you are making the decision based on tape — the football aspect of it — Jameis Winston is the better prospect, the best quarterback prospect in this draft. He’s better inside the pocket than Mariota, which is where the foundation of an evaluation should be: Can he win from inside the pocket?"

I say, wait until the league sees his Wonderlic scores. If he hits double-digits, I'll be surprised.

I'll be sure to avoid bspn and NFL network draft coverage for sure.

The Manziel/Jameez comparison is an apt one for sure kaptain. Only a white player could be written off after one game.

best case scenario is jameez goes to a team with a quoataback already in place and an imcompetent offensive coordinator.

if winston was white mcgay would not have at all mentioned that the position is played from the pocket. Just another example of a bspn ******* using double speak to heap praise on an afflete when the truth is convienent for the agenda.

i used to be a really hardcore draft junkie. I really don't follow it nearly as much as I used to even a few years back. For along time i could never see myself as tuning out of it as I do now. I never watch any of the draft related programming on bspn or NFL network and I don't really miss it.

i think following the draft year after year and hoping for a white breakthrough yet getting the same results every year and the black quarterback push have really waned my interest.

Heres what I'm worried about, another poster put it best, he'll be bad but good enough to stick around just like Newton. And when it comes to the wonderlic I'm sure he'll find a way to score in the low 20s. Maybe he'll be coached or will be given a few answers in advance . The powers that be know they have a lot riding in this . They tell us he makes bad decisions off the field but that he's a very smart kid otherwise. All the evidence so far says otherwise , just listen to him speak .
