Blue Jays Rangers tied in the top of the ninth. Josh Donaldson with a HR. The Rangers won yesterdays game 1.

...and Kansas City lost to Houston last night. Not the start I was hoping for.

Astros/Royals game 2 at 3:45

Cubs/Cardinals game 1 at 6:45. Tough to see one of these teams lose.

Mets/Dodgers game 1 9:45. A great pitching matchup in Kershaw/de Grom the 2014 NL ROY!

Hey CS,
I'm not familiar with who's who in the MLB really, so what would be the better outcomes in each of these series from our anti-caste perspective/position. Who do we want to win as far as that goes?
Thanks bro!

I'll do the best I can. It's not so cut and dry comparing some of the matchups. Take the Astros/Royals. They have their share of black players and some Dominicans, but also have their share of white players also.

The Astros have Cy Young candidate in Dallas Keuchel. They also have OF Colby Rasmus who has already hit 2 HR's in the series. Big Evan Gattis, 6'4 260 is the DH and also CF Jake Marisnick, 6'4 220. They also have a RF, George Springer, but I think he's mixed. So with the Astros you're going to have 4 to 4 1/2 white starters at any time.

The Royals are about the same mix, maybe one more white starter? You have 2B Zobrist, Hosmer at 1B, Moustakas at 3B, and Alex Gordon in LF. Not sure right off hand who their ace is on the mound, but they started Cueto whose Domincan today. So you also have 4-5 white starters on the Royals also. The Royals won today, so their series is tied 1-1. I'd say a toss up between these two.

Toronto and Texas a little more clear cut, although you have Josh Hamilton, Mitch Moreland and P Cole Hamels and Colby Lewis this team is loaded with Blacks and Dominicans.

Toronto however, has AL MVP candidate Josh Donaldson, SS Tulowitzki, 1B Justin Smoak, CF Pillar, 2B Goins and P R.A. Dickey. So when their not pitching their ace David Price, they could start as many as 6 white players. I would lean toward the Blue Jays, but it's not looking good. Texas just took a 2-0 series lead.

Like I said, I'll do the best that I can. If someone else has something to contribute, please do. I'll do the other 2 matchups later.

It's too bad the best two players in MLB are not in the postseason in Mike Trout and Bryce Harper!

In the other 2 matchups you have Chicago/ St. Louis. Chicago probably the whiter of the two, but it's close.

Chicago has the NL Cy Young candidate, probably will win it in Jake Arrieta and also Jon Lester. Also, 1B Rizzo, Big time rookie in LF/3B Bryant, RF Schwarber, LF Coghlan, and C Ross. So they will star 6 white players most of the time.

St. Louis has some big time pitching as well in Wacha, Lackey, and Lynn. Carpenter leads off at 3B, Piscotty and Reynolds will split time at 1B, Holiday who suffered an injury early on is back in LF, and Grichuk in RF. 2B Wong is Hawaiian, I think.

It's close between these two, but I'd give the nod to Chicago.

Now, the Dodgers and Mets. For LA it all starts with Pitchers, (3 time Cy Young winner Clayton Kershaw) and Zac Greinke. Seager is at SS, Turner 3B, Rookie Pederson in CF, and RF Ethier. Ellis who is white may split time with Yasmani Grandal who is Cuban at Catcher.

The Mets have pitchers, NL ROY Jacob de Grom, Harvey and Syndergaard. Also, Wright 3B, Murphy 2B, Duda 1b, d'Arnaud C, and Cuddyer in LF. Again it's close. It's virtually a toss up, but give the nod to the Mets.

Again, it's too bad we won't see Mike Trout nor Bryce Harper in the postseason!

Two pretty good games last night as the Cardinals and P Lackey shut out the Cubs, beating Jon Lester, 4-0. Part time St. Louis 1B, Stephen Piscotty drove in 2 runs and Matt Holiday drove in 1. Cardinals lead series 1-0.

In the late game between the Mets and the Dodgers, it was young pitcher Jacob de Grom beating LA's Clayton Kershaw, 3-1. Long time Met 3B David Wright drove in 2 runs and 2B Daniel Murphy went deep for New York. Mets lead the series 1-0.

After watching bits and pieces of all four games, the Mets may be the team to pull for, with Chicago in a tie or close a second!

Rangers lead the Blue Jays 2-0.

Astros/Royals series tied 1-1.

Thanks for the insight and updates CS! I was a Dodgers fan back in the day and in the 90's when I lived out there. They've always seemed to disappoint me in the post-season, and once again they have their hands full, this time with the Mets of all teams. It's too bad there are great White stars peppered throughout the League and yet the overwhelming positions are filled by over-rated Blacks and foreigners.
Sound familiar?

Chicago evens up the series with St. Louis 1-1 with a 6-3 win. Wood gets the win. Rizzo and Bryant have been almost non-existent offensively. Bryant has made some great defensive plays at third. Arrieta will be on the bump tomorrow.

Matt Carpenter hit a HR for the Cardinals.

Los Angeles evened up the their series with New York, 1-1 behind Greinke. The only real stand out offensively for LA was 3B Justin Turner, 2/4, 1 run, and 1 RBI. Ethier went 1/1 RBI, and Chase Utley got a hit and scored a run in his lone AB.

Kansas City/Houston and Toronto/Texas resume today/tonight.

Last night BSPN was doing it's best to villianize Chase Utley for taking out Tejada at second base and breaking up a double play. In the process he broke Tejada's leg - He expressed regret in injuring Tejada but not in how he plays the game.

Eric Hosmer homers for Kansas City as the Royals tie the series 2-2 with the Astros. Houston's Colby Rasmus hit his 3rd HR of the series in a loss. Rasmus is hitting .545 in the series!

Toronto is leading Texas in the 8th 8-2. Josh Donaldson has hit his 2nd HR of the series. Really need Toronto to win this one!

Chicago's Cy Young candidate Jake Arrieta has a 1-0 lead on St. Louis in the 4th. Kyle Schwarber has hit a HR for The Cubs!

Utley has become public enemy number one, for A) hurting a non-white player, and B) hurting a New York team's chance to win. Generally the hard slide into second was considered baseball 101, but in pussified amerika, the double play hard slide, like the collision at home plate, is just too mean. So it has to be punished and eventually banned.

Probably had Utley just politely slid into second he would have been criticized for not being "hard-nosed". White players are damned if they do and damned if they don't.

Arrieta didnt have a real good outing, but it was good enough to allow the bullpen to keep the lead while the offense added more runs. 1 more win and they eliminate the cards and advance to nlcs. Hopefully the bats can come alive again.

Cubs beat Cards to advance to the NLCS! What a talented team! They need Lester and Arrieta to come up big again. As long as they keep crushing those balls they have a shot of going all the way!
