I think that overall this was a very good week for our guys and some of "our teams". Our 2 best hopes for a White friendly team in the playoffs, Stanford and Iowa, both won. At the say time a few teams ranked ahead of them, TCU, Michigan State and LSU, lost. I'm interested to see how far Iowa and Stanford move up.
Lot of great individual efforts too. Connor Cook played great in the loss to Nebraska. For the Cornhuskers, Jordan Westerkamp had another huge day. 9 catches for 143 yards and a TD. Brandon Reilly had a great game as well. 3 catches for 87 yards and the go ahead score as well as a rush for 17 yards. Andy Janovich had 4 carries for 26 yards. He should get more touches.
Nelson Spruce was the leading receiver in a game that featured many White receiving options (Stanford vs Colorado). Britain Covey the same for Utah vs Washington.
Jake Butt had 4 catches for 102 yards in Michigan's rout of Rutgers.
Gunner Kiel threw for over 500 yards and out played the black quarterback for Houston but Cincinnati still managed to lose.
Jenson Stoshak had 4 catches for 101 yards and a score but his crappy team lost to NFL prospect Brandon Doughty who threw for over 400 yards and 4 scores.
Ryan Switzer had 5 catches for 107 yards, a touchdown and a 13 yard rush. It was his 2nd straight 100 yard effort. Hopefully he'll continue that even with a scatter-armed black quarterback slinging passes to him.
Wisconsin is looking pretty good at 8-2 now. Alex Erickson was good as usual. 5 catches for 83 yards. Former QB turned starting safety, Tanner McEvoy, had 2 interceptions. He's been excellent of late.
Mizzou running back Tyler Hunt's 85 yards, on only 6 carries, was tops for that game.
