for the 2015 season, Wisconsin's leading passer, rusher, receiver, and sacks/tackles-for-loss defender were all former walk-ons. perhaps they should re-evaluate how their recruiting coordinator "evaluates" "talent" ...
as an addendum, Wisconsin wideout Alex Erickson (an overachieving, blue collar, former walk-on) couldn't be covered by USC cornerback (and touted future NFL draft pick) Adoree' Jackson ... Erickson had 5 catches on 6 targets in the first half, all against man coverage, 4 of which were in single coverage matchups with Jackson. (in the second half, Wisconsin only attempted 7 passes if i recall correctly, and USC was rolling their coverage to help Jackson). one wonders if Erickson's ability to beat man coverage against a future pro will "translate" to being able to do the same thing at the next level.
