Traditionally one of the whitest teams (producing great players like QB Den LeFevour and OLB Frank Zombo) in the fairly white MAC conference, the Chippewas do not disappoint this year, with 14 white starters, including a white RB and CB!! CB Colton Odykirk was listed as Brandon Greer's backup in the sources I've seen before Greer got booted off the team, presumably giving Odykirk the FC spot. Saylor Lavillii will also likely be in an RBC this year, but should see the most carries. Cooper Rush and Jesse Kroll are both exciting play makers, and will be fun to watch. They were part of an awesome bowl game last year, and hopefully will be in the MAC title race this year. From 2006-2012, Central Michigan started 8, 10, 15, 13, 11, and 11 whites, with no write-up on them done in 2013 to go with 14 palefaces starting in 2014. White backups: QB Ryan Lamb, TE Zach Crouch, the entire 2nd string OL, DE Chris Kantzavelos, DT Kelby Latta, and MLB Nathan Ricketts. Possibly the best MAC team to root for, go Chippewas!!

Offense
QB - Cooper Rush
FB - Joe Bacci
RB - Saylor Lavallii
WR(X) - Jesse Kroll
LT - Ramadan Ahmeti
LG - Austin Doan
C - Nick Beamish
RG - Kenny Rogers
RT - Derek Edwards

Defense
DE - Joe Ostman
DE - Blake Serpa
MLB - Jeff Perry
CS - Tony Annese
FC - Colton Odykirk

Nice! I hope they do well this season. The MAC seems to always have more white friendly teams than any other conference. I am interested to see how the MAC teams do against the other non power 5 conferences.

Even tho virtually no one was there watching, last December Central Michigan was involved in one of the greatest near-comeback Bowl performances of all time.. 28 4th quarter points in the Bahamas Bowl.

I will always have love for this program after this game. One of the wildest, most entertaining Bowls I've seen.. Probably the greatest 2nd half I've ever watched in college football.

tailback Saylor Lavallii will miss the 2015 season with an unspecified (at this point) injury.

Sorry to hear about Saylor, but I'll still pull for CMU! :)
