Here are your starting white Longhorns for 2014. Since 2006, Texas has started 7, 6, 8, 9, 8, 5, and 6 whites. With the retirement of Mack Brown, caste coach extraordinaire Charlie Strong takes over the program, and he’s going to be making the team even darker than Brown ever did. After Ash, there’s going to be a never ending stream of black QBs coming through – the next two on the depth chart are both black. This team will be mildly watchable if Ash to Shipley becomes a go-to combination this year, and the other white WRs/TEs get some playing time. Sadly, the 7 whites Texas might start looks to actually be one of the top numbers in the Big 12 this year. There’s no white depth on this team at all. Some white players that could possibly see time are: TE Blake Whitley, C Jake Raulerson, and FS Erik Huhn. A very dark future indeed for the Longhorns. Some other white scholarship players they have include: WRs Jake Oliver and Garrett Gray, DL Jake McMillon, and LB Andrew Beck.

Offense
QB- David Ash
FB- Alex De La Torre
WR- Jaxon Shipley
TE- Geoff Swaim
C- Dominc Espinosa
RG- Taylor Doyle

Defense
MLB- Dalton Santos – in a fight for the position.

David Ash decided to call it a career after his last concussion, so now the Longhorns have the supa affletic upside laden room brightening smile wearing Tyrone Swoopes as their starter going forward.

If you've witnessed any of his play in the first two Longhorns games this year, it is an indictment of the recruiting services as total scams. There are at least 10 QBs just in my general area of MO and KS that are better than him NOW, as high school players. Yet most are completely unknown on the services, which means that their chances of being recruited by a top program are virtually nil since the services DETERMINE who will be recruited.
