2014 Michigan State Spartans

Here are your projected starting white Spartans for 2014. Michigan State looks to be following the “typicalâ€￾ formula this year: white QB, FB, TE, and OL, with black starters nearly everywhere else. They do have some white depth. Since 2005, the Spartans have had 7, 5, 7, 10, 10, 10, 12, 8, and 9 white starters. It looks like it’s going to be a drop of one to 8 this year. Some white players to look for are: FB Andrew Gleichert (if he doesn’t start at TE), LG Benny McGowan, C Travis Jackson (if Allen gets hurt), RG James Bodanis, RT Kodi Kieler, NT James Kittredge, MLB Jon Reschke, and SLB Riley Bullough. Bullough should get a ton of playing time at LB; he's looked really good so far in camp.
