2014 Boise State Broncos

The Broncos started 11 whites in 2010, 15 in 2011 and 14 in 2012, and dipped down to 11 in 2013. They will drop down to 10 but will remain a team worth rooting for due to their two starting white receivers. Matt Miller looks to solidify his potential as an NFL draft pick, while Dallas Burroughs hopes to make full use of his potential (Idaho state champ/record holder in the 100m - 10.34) in his final season. Boise State will open their season with a nationally televised game against the vile Ole Miss.

Awesome news JL! When I googled his name during the preview, a different black athlete came up. Did not realize Bell was actually white. According to his online bio he made 10 starts last year so his job sounds secure! I'll update the post! 5 defenders and 2 WRs make this a team worth rooting for!

wide receiver Matt Miller is possibly the best collegiate receiver in the country that virtually no one is talking about. entering his senior year, he is poised to break all the Boise State receiving records. he's caught 60 or more balls in his first three seasons and is much more than just a possession receiver. in his final five games of last season, he had 41 receptions for 636 yards and 10 touchdowns including an 11-catch, 206-yard performance against Oregon State in the Hawaii Bowl.

Boise State is getting rid of last season's horizontal passing game and returning to the downfield passing attack that is much better suited to Miller's game, so look for him to put up monster numbers this year.

Miller joins the fast black midget Shane Williams-Rhodes as the only two for-sure wideouts in the Broncos' game plan, so at least one more wideout needs to step up. the three most likely candidates to fill that role are blazing fast Dallas Burroughs (sr.), former cornerblack *â„¢* Chaz Anderson (so.), and lanky and long Thomas Sperbeck (so.). Burroughs has never fulfilled expectations based on his incredible track speed, but this may finally be his year. both he and Sperbeck have been dominant in fall camp, while Anderson brings a room-brightening smile and affleticism to the competition.

a longshot to emerge is 6-foot-1 redshirt freshman D.J. Dean. outside of Matt Miller, Dean is one of the rare Boise wideouts who offers size on the outside.
