Tyler Johnson, Miami Heat, had 26 points off the bench last night in 25 mins,. I don't know much about him. He is a rookie out of Fresno State by way of North Dakota who was called up from D-League I believe. Anyone know anything about this guy?

Dragic, MIA. 21 points

Len, PHX. 10/11 got ejected for fighting!

Nowitzki, DAL. 14/8
Redick, LAC. 18 pts.

Bogut, GS. 16/8

I was really unhappy with the Suns move. Plumlee showed flashes in his rookie season last year of making developing into an all star. All they have left know is Alex Len. He is good but still very raw. Dragic was crushed as he wanted to finish his career in Phoenix. Who knows though. Maybe he can have a chance to get to the Eastern Finals with the east being a little bit easier although his new teammate Bosh is out for the year. Not sure of any other trades. Mozgov will help Cleveland as and Plumlee with the Bucks assuming he gets the minutes.

On a side note, Mirotic of the Bulls had a career high 29 points two nights ago. He is a real talent.

WL, I read an article on Dragic that he was demanding a trade to either Miami or New York and that he didn't care about winning, he just wanted to play in a big market and he's all about the money. I don't know how much truth there is to that, but here is an article on it.

Los Angeles Clippers, 7: J.J. Redick (S)(+1), *S. Hawes (R), H. Turkoglu (B)
*Hawes will get big minutes off bench; With racist Jew Sterling gone, the Clips actually sign Whites

*UDFA from W. Michigan earned a roster spot
Sacramento Kings, 4: *N. Stauskas (R), O. Casspi (R)
*Will Kings screw over Nik like they did Jimmer?
Charlotte Hornets, 3: *C. Zeller (S)
*Starting now
Los Angeles Lakers, 3: R. Kelly (S), *S. Nash (INJ)
*Nash out for season, possibly for career; Lakers took a nose dive in the CF ranks
Phoenix Suns, 3: A. Len (S)
*Totally went in the toilet Caste-wise; Len a beast at least
Detroit Pistons, 0:
*If any city deserves an all-black squad it’s Detroit
Philadelphia 76ers, 0:
*Horrible team striving for historically worst season, yet the SPLC would be proud of the roster

Some Notes:

The biggest risers were Miami, New York and OKC with a +5. The LA Lakers had a +3 just from Ryan Kelly returning from injury and starting. Boston was a +2 and will be more when Olynyk returns from injury.

Losers were Phoenix with a -9! Detroit is a -6 and now has a fully diverse squad. Cleveland and Brooklyn are down 4 each with some coming from injury and guys falling out of the rotation.

Ending on a positive note, all of the blackest teams in my final category are out of the playoffs right now.

Man, did not know Dunleavy was still in the league. I think he is going on 12 yrs.

I'm afraid you maybe correct, though I could not confirm.

If he is part black it is a very small part. Less than Kris Humphries, who I consider black. Johnson passes the eye test IMO. I was watching the Heat-Lakers game the other night and he looked very white.

Great roll-up, thank for this, Freethinker. I only occasionally check in on NBA basketball, but it sure seems like there's been an increase in noteworthy white American pro basketball players, instead of just those exotic Euros. It's worth noting that most of the whiter NBA teams trend toward the top of their division standings and that most of the blacker teams trend toward the bottom of theirs.

Glad you appreciate it.

I fully agree that there seems to be a correlation with the "Whiter" teams being more successful. I noted that all 7 of the teams that "should be avoided" (ie too black) are currently out of the playoffs. On the other hand, the only "White friendly" team who stinks is the Knicks.

Keep an eye on Justin Hamilton who is now with the Twolves after getting traded then released.

2018.jpg

Justin Hamilton scored a career-high 15 points against the Suns on Wednesday with three rebounds, two blocks and one 3-pointer.

He played just nine minutes on Monday and wasn't playing in any game before that since Feb. 11 when he was with the Heat. With Nikola Pekovic (ankle) likely to be sidelined and Kevin Garnett not playing in road games, we might see Hamilton get minutes. If you're in a very deep league, give him a look because he can block a little bit and does take treys -- had four attempts tonight.

Wow what a night by Gallinari. All of our guys are playing really good. So happy to also see Nowitzki continue his climb on the all time scoring list. Dallas could be a sleeper pick out west to make some noise in the playoffs. I wouldn't mind it. San Antonio, Golden State, Memphis and Houston are all descent too.

Not really surprised that the NBA playoffs don't even get their own thread. Thanks to a rare fit of white-on-white violence, Kevin Love is done for the season with a dislocated shoulder by way of a rebounding scrum with Boston's Kelly Olynyk. That's ok with me because I'd have a hard time cheering for LeBron no matter how many white role players his handlers surround him with.

Are there any teams left to root for in particular? I guess Dirk in Dallas is the default, although you can count me amongst those who are disgusted by his negrophilia. I suppose I like San Antonio because Popovich is an all-time great coach, Ginobili can still dominate a game as point-forward for short spurts here and there, and because they otherwise play the best team basketball, a fleeting concept since maybe the Jordan era. The Warriors seem palatable too, and maybe if Steph Curry takes a white trophy wife like his daddy, in 20 years the new MVP will be a quadroon (kidding!!)

I think the teams to root for are San Antonio, Dallas, Memphis and Chicago. Yes Cleveland too but like you I would prefer they don't win.

I was watching the Cleveland - Chicago game earlier tonight and Gasol, Dunleavy, Mozgov and Dellavadova were on the court. And I thought, as good as this game is, how fun would it be to watch if Kevin Love were playing?

This is a really good series to watch. Very exciting and it's back and forth most of the time.

Chicago won tonight on a last second three pointer by Derick Rose. Pau Gasol got hurt and only scored 6 points but Mike Dunleavy continued his hot shooting scoring 16 points. Nikolai Mirotic had 12 points and 8 rebounds.

Deladova, Mozgov and Miller are all key pieces of the Cavs team. It's 2 games to 1 with the Bulls leading. They play again on Sunday.

The Clippers blew out the Rockets. It's great to see JJ Reddick playing such great basketball. I think the Warriors will come out of the west but you never know. The Clippers are pretty good too. I would prefer to see Golden State though with Lee and Bogut being key pieces.
