Unfortunately it looks like the overall white starter numbers took a big hit from last years roughly 190. This year its somewhere around 172. This is due to a big fall off of about three starters each in Oakland, Houston and Denver, plus smaller random things like Urlacher retiring, new black QB's etc, and injury woes.
In 2012 and 2011 the number was around 190, in 2010 around 178. I'm going to research 2007 to see where we were then, my guess is somewhere right around here.
Also, it seems like the white backup player numbers is pretty similar to past years, so my guess is that overall player numbers in the league haven't taken a hit just the starter numbers. Still, not good news.

NFC east
Philly, 7 offense (counting two tight ends), 4 on O-line, one WR, two tight ends, 1 defense. Total 8
Dallas, 4 offense, two on O-line, one TE, 1 defense, maybe one more on defense if in fact Hayden starts on D-line. Total 5
Wash, 3 offense, all on O-line, 1 defense, total 4.
NYG, 6 offense, three on O-line, 1 TE, 1 fullback, 1 defense, total 7

NFC south
Carolina, 3 offense, two on O-line, 1 TE, 1 defense, total 4
Atl, 5 offense, three on O-line, 1 fullback, 1 defense, total 6
N.O. 4 offense, two on O-line, 1 fullback, 0 defense total 4
TB, 2 offense, 1 TE 1 fullback, 0 defense, total 2

NFC north
Minnesota, 5 offense, 3 O-line, TE, not counting Line as starting fullback as its only temporary, 4 defense, total 9
Det, 5 offense, 3 O-line, 1 TE, 0 defense total 5
GB 8 offense, 5 O-line assuming Barclay wins final spot on line, 1 fullback, 1 WR, 2 on defense, total 10
Chi, 3 offense, assuming Long wins as one of the guards 2 on o-line, 1 defense total 4, not counting Mcclellin as starter though that my change

NFC west
SF 3 offense, 2 O-line, 1 fullback, 1 defense, total 4
Sea, 5 offense, 4 O-line, 1 TE, 0 defense, total 5
StL, 4 offense, 3 O-line, 2 defense total 6
Ariz, 5 offense, 3 O-line, 1 TE, 0 defense total 5

AFC East
NE 8 offense, 5 O-line, 1 TE, 1 WR, actually one more if both tight ends are counted which may be common formation, 2 defense, total 10
NYJ, 2 offense, 1 O-line, 1 fullback, defense 0, not counting Mcintyre on D as its only temporary, total 2
Miami 5 offense, 2 O-line, 1 WR, 1 fullback, 0 defense, total 5
Buff 5 offense, 4 O-line, 1 TE, not counting a white QB as Emmanuel looks like the annointed one, 2 defense, total 7

AFC South
Hou 3 offense, 1 on O-line, 1 TE, 4 on defense this counts Crick as starter not sure if this is permanent, total 7
Indy, 3 offense 2 on O-line, not counting Fleehner as started though he should play alot, 1 defense looks like Angerer will be starting total 4
Jacs 3 offense, 2 on O-line, 3 on defense, counting Russel Allen and Babin as white 6 total
Tenn 5 offense, 4 on O-line, 0 defense though Mccarthy may start again once he's healthy 5 total

AFC North
Cincy 5 offense, 4 on O-line, tight end Eifert may emerge this year, but not starting yet, 0 defense, total 5
Clev, 6 offense, 4 on O-line, 1 TE, 1 defense total 7
Pitts, 3 offense, 1 O-line, 1 TE, 1 defense total 4
Balt, 3 offense, 2 O-line, 0 defense, total 3

AFC west
Den 4 offense, 1 on O-line, 2 WR's, tight ends Tamme and Dressen should see alot of action as well, 1 defense total 5
KC, 4 offense, 1 on O-line, 1 TE, 1 fullback, 1 defense total 5
Oak, 3 offense, 3 on O-line, not counting Mastrud as starting TE as thats only temporary, 0 on defense, total 3

Nice job tallying the numbers. Gives me a good idea of who to cheer for as I am not much into the racist NFL anymore.

This is depressing news, and it isn't much different from what I've seen in regards to the college team previews. Last week was the first opening week of the college football season in over 20 years where I didn't watch or listen to ANY football at all. The strangest part is, I didn't really even miss it.

It's my opinion Matt Simms will take over starting QB for the Jets, as much as it will kill rex ryan, he'll have no choice.

Time for a mid season update, and for some good news. Here are the new white starters that I've found. Atlanta Jeremy Trueblood O-line, Tampa Mike Glennon QB, Dallas Nick Hayden D-line (believe he has been starter for most of the season but at the start he wasn't listed), NY Jets Brian Winters (just announced today) O-line, Arizona Bradley Sowell (tentatively assuming Levi Brown trade goes through) O-line, Carolina Chase Blackburn linebacker I believe has taken over though it doesn't show on depth charts he has been playing most snaps in last games, St Louis Matt Giordano safety, Cody Fleener tight end Indy.
Also, looks like Joey Vellano may be starting for Pats due to Wilfork's injury and I'm not sure about Worrilow in Atlanta. He started the game against the Pats then went out due to injury, not sure how likely he is to keep starting.
White starter losses that I know of are Bierman in Atlanta, Hynoski in NY and maybe Snee also in NY due to injury. All of these are due to injury. Also I had Jared Crick counted as a starter for Hou at start of the year, but I don't believe he ever was. Finally Tyler Clutts was cut by Miami at fullback. Dont know if he was ever really used much anyway.
By my estimation we started the year with only 171 (taking out Crick), but are now at about 176..

One more position to keep an eye on is Jacksonville where Austin Pasztor who started a bit last year, will get first crack at replacing Eugene Monroe who was traded last night. If he wins the job over Bradfield the Jags would have a white majority starting O-line.

Chase Blackburn will remain the Panthers starter at weak-side linebacker.

Oft-injured veteran Jon Beason has been benched and can be dropped in IDP formats. "Right now Chase has got the lead, and I think a big part of it is Chase is a little more comfortable at it right now," coach Ron Rivera said. "I think Jon's going to continue to work and get himself back to football shape." Blackburn had just two tackles when he started Week 3 against the Giants.

white for black roster move:

Panthers signed LB Ben Jacobs from their practice squad.

Jacobs will likely contribute on special teams if active this week. He's taking Jon Beason's spot on the 53-man roster.

Due to injuries, the racial apprenticeship of first round draft pick Shea McClellin has been shortened and he played 64 of 68 snaps last week, recording 4 tackles, 2 assists and 4 quarterback hurries. Hopefully he'll shine tonight along with Chris Conte on national TV when the Bears play the Giants.

Jeff Tarpanian was signed by the Texans. Let's hope he gets some playing time.

Kind of a strange season. I have never seen so many games where each team has 3-4 white starters. A lot of this is driven by all-black defenses and black supremacy being applied to QB and the O-line.

On the flip side, there are more excellent white receivers and defensive playmakers than I can remember since maybe the 80s. Plus, I think overall rosters are about the same as they have been in a while and more whites are being given a shot at RB (even if as backups).

Of course, don't forget that the Patriots just started 13 whites - the most whites I can remember ever starting since I became aware of black supremacy in the NFL.

The best thing is that white QBs are really shining while the blacks run from being some of the worst QBs of all time (Freeman) to just plain bad (Pryor, Smith). Only Kapernik (if you count him as black) and Wilson belong as starters. And both are hyped up to an absurd degree.

Very true! Welcome to the board! The same can be said for white parents if they are only pumping out 2 kids per family the quality will be there compared to a black family and say 3\5 kids end up in jail, etc.

Time for another update, and some good news as well. Since the start of the season looks like the following are white starter gains: Philly QB Foles, Dallas D-line Hayden, Wash Safety Doughty, Carolina LB Blackburn (or Klein when Blackburn is injured), Atlanta O-line Trueblood, LB Worrilow, TB QB Glennon, Det WR Durham, Chi D-line Mcclellin, Arizona O-line Sowell, NE Jones and Vellano D-line, now counting both Amendola and Edelman as starters since thats often the lineup, NYJ O-line Winters, Indy TE Fleehner, Tenn fullback Mooney, Balt O-line Shipley,
Oak, O-line Pashos. Now, there is a little tight end confusion. In Oakland Jeron Mastrud has apparently started most games, but he doesn't have many receptions. Same with Logan Paulson of Wash, some sites have him listed as starter, but he's not in on alot of snaps.
Also, at the start of the year I didn't count both Housler and Dray as co-starters at tight end for the Cardinals but they are listed as such. Also, I'm counting Fauria as both white and a starter with Detroit as he's listed as such.
Now, white starter losses are as follows, Bierman Atlanta, Hynoski and Herzlich NYG, Clutts Miami, Vollmer NE, Hoyer Cleveland, Cushing Houston. The good news here is that all of these losses except for Herzlich are from injuries, whereas in many cases the white starter gains are from promotion.
Factoring in the gains and losses and my slight undercount at the start of the year, I believe we are somewhere around 185 white starters, compared to about 175 at the start of the season.

Very good news. I noticed the Saints only started 4 whites last night. Pathetic!

It amazes me how evey year Reed Doughty is expected to be nothing more than a fringe player/special teams demon but every damn year he ends up taking over for the real talented, dark hued dbs. Who fail to maximize on their limitless upside and potential. This year it so happens he's taken over for Bacarri Rambo another "sure fire" prospect last year who can't cover or tackle. Good for Reed, his patience and grit have paid off. When all is said in done he's accomplished a lot in this league, a lot more than people expected coming out of college!

With so many White linebackers excelling, Pat Angerer and Colin McCarthy have both been disappointments last season and this season due to lingering injuries. For a while it looked like both would have to serve racial apprenticeships after previously being starters and playing like stars, but Angerer and McCarthy are both healthy now and putting up big tackling numbers once again. Angerer is again entrenched as a starter, but we'll see if Mike Munchak is dumb enough to promote the journeyman Fokou over Colin as Tennessee's starting MLB when Fokou returns from his knee injury.

Looks like we are gaining one more white starter over the last few weeks, and that is Matt Mcgloin at QB for Oak. Also, I think we are looking at two gains and two losses due to injury, losses are Mooney at FB for Tenn, though he wasn't used much, and at center for NYG where the last white man standing, Jim Cordle was put on IR. Gains look to be Cody Wallace at center for Pitts, probably, though not all sites are showing this, and Mitch Unrein on D-line for Denver.

Some more good news. Audie Cole is now the starting middle linebacker for Minnesota and its at least partially a promotion, over Erin Henderson who moves to weakside linebacker, though another black linebacker was injured earlier this year as well. This makes for five whites starting on defense for the Vikings.

Cole has played well so far, and there is also this blurb on Weenieworld today:

Coach Leslie Frazier admitted Wednesday he never wanted Erin Henderson to be the Vikings' starting middle linebacker. Henderson only got the job because the Vikings missed out on an early-round Mike 'backer in the draft, and Desmond Bishop flopped. "He was moved to the Mike linebacker position, not necessarily because that’s what we wanted to do," Frazier said of Henderson. "That was the plight that we were in." Henderson has now been "demoted" to the weak side, with Audie Cole taking over in the middle.

It would be nice to see Michael Mauti become Cole's backup by the end of this season or next season.

This makes five white starters with Harrison Smith still out! Now, they aren't playing well as a defense, largely due to very poor field position situations and terrible corners, but it would be difficult for a DWF to criticize any of the five, or Smith. Allen is defensive star, albeit an aging one. Robison is at least a solid DE. Greenway is one of the league leaders in tackles. Cole is productive. Sendejo (I guess we are calling him white) is at least solid. Harrison Smith was arguably the best defensive rookie in the league last year. Remarkable. 10 total white starters for the Vikings. Now, they need a coach.......

Smith is eligible to return next Sunday, Dec 15, he's already been training as of last week and it looks like he's over his turf toe.

now, unfortunately with a new coach there will be a change in white starters for sure, and I doubt it will be for better. Coe would probably find himself on the bench, Sendejo as well and a few others.

they could just trade Peterson away and go with Gerhart, draft Abbrederis (full disclosure, I had to google the spelling here as I absolutely butchered his last name haha) and become real Vikings we could all cheer for... ha!

The Vikings' defense is hurt by being on the field too much due to the team's weak passing offense. And Peterson is the focal point of the offense to an extreme degree, as even a very talented back like Gerhart isn't utilized in the running or passing game. Putting Peterson and Gerhart in the same backfield as split backs and using both of them is something the team will never consider. And yes it's obvious Frazier is a victim of the Peter Principle.

Robison signing a new contract this year during the season when he could have been an unrestricted free agent was a pleasant surprise. Smith, Sandejo and Cole are young, and Greenway is still in his prime and is way too valuable to part ways with, though Sandejo may not remain a starter after Smith returns. Allen will likely leave as a free agent after the season, but that still leaves a good corps of young White defensive players.
