Here’s your white starters for A&M this year. Kevin Sumlin continues to go full bore caste mode in the SEC, with in all probability the only white starters being Manziel and the two Matthews. White backups to look for are QB Matt Joeckel, WRs Travis Labhart, Gaston Lamascus and Boone Niederhofer, Guard Shep Klinke, and FSs Clay Honeycutt and Sam Moeller. Since '05, A&M started 8, 9, 8, 7, 9, 10, 8, and 6 whites. That number decreases to four this year, including an all-black starting 11 on defense. Update: some positive developments on defense, with two whites in SLB Jordan Mastrogiovanni and FS Clay Honeycutt starting now.

Great news, Vanilla! Also, I read that S Floyd Raven will miss a few more games with a collarbone injury, leaving FS Clay Honeycutt to start on defense yet, with Sam Moeller backing him up. So still two white Aggies on defense! Also, senior WR Travis Labhart is now 2nd on the depth chart at one of the WR positions.
