Trent Williams shouldn't have made it, and I say that as a Redskins fan. Affirmative action pick, IMO. If he was white, nobody would know who he was. Not saying he's terrible or even below-average, just not elite.

On the flip side, London Fletcher gets snubbed once again. At the age of 37, he leads all NFL linebackers with 5 INTs and 10 passes defensed. He was probably passed over because hes just a quiet black man with a good work ethic, while the fans prefer see some thug-ass ****** who dances around like a chimp after every tackle and stabs people outside strip clubs.

I'm hard pressed to come up with a league leader at a position that gets snubbed that is not white. Brees (passing yards and TDs) and Kluechy (tackles). London Fletcher did lead in what I call the sub-categories of passes defended and interceptions for a linebacker - plus he is 37 years old. Every year we see this phenomenon of white league leaders snubbed and yet when the media talks about pro bowl snubs they rarely get mentioned.

How many times did Vick make the pro bowl and not nearly have the stats to make the game. Even McDrabb made too many pro bowls. If you want to see who are the better players look at the all pro selections.

The pro-bowl is a popularity contest and nothing more. It means nothing. I hate when someone brings up "Pro-bowls" as a measure of a player. It's meaningless. For example I don't think Gronkowski and Mattews should have made it because of the time they have missed with injuries. But they have an impressive resume--so even the pro-black contingent votes them in. The only rookies or newcomers to the elite catagory that make the Pro bowl are black QB's because they are feeding the culty marxy beast by making that selection. Otherwise its business as usual.

Fletcher has also been married to a non-mulatto black women for several years. The C-Marxist's powers-that-be do not like black men that are not total self-loathing Uncle Tom's (aka Cornball Brothers) -- hence, all the love for race mixers like Robert Griffin and Russell Wilson, who will proudly display their mudsharks for the whole world to see.

Wilson actually did like a ten minute interview prior to the draft with ESPN and all the camera's did was focus on his blonde skank, while ESPN's head Lonsman Chris Berman beamed with pride back in the studio.

I mean, how in the world can ESPN or NBC show shots of London Fletcher's black wife cheering him on from the stands at the Pro Bowl?

Lauranitis was the leader in solo tackles, should have gotten in.

Jed Collins should have gotten in at fullback, he is an awesome blocker and a threat to catch it out of the backfield

as far as safties, looks like some weak picks, Harrison Smith has a good case over both guys from San Fransisco, Eric Weddle should have gotten a spot.

Personally I think Andrew Luck should have went in over Schaub, but oh well, at least he is White.

Good calls there...Weddle, Brees, Greenway & Lauranitis should all be Pro-Bowl locks. It's ridiculous that the Gremlin got the nod over Brees.

Actually dwid, Peter Prisco recently reported that AFC players were playing extra hard against Cam Newton at the 2012 Pro Bowl.

Gerald McCoy making the Pro Bowl should tell you everything you need to know about this joke of an all-star game. The guy was hyped since before he was drafted and has been nothing short of a bust. It's true that DTs usually don't rack up sacks, but McCOy had 5-- 4 of those were in 2 games against the Cowboys and the Eagles. Even if you want to make the Justin Smith "he does a lot of the little things that don't show up on the stat sheet" argument, we're talking about a guy that many thought should have gone number 1 overall in his draft. He had 23 solo tackles. Please.

It's interesting that one of the fairer positions in the league--at least by NFL standards--Tight End, features 4 non-White players (3 Whites and Gonzalez). Though the Pro Bowl generally is just a popularity contest, those 4 are the top TEs in league right now (Gronk is simply the most talented even if his stats were down this year due to injury) with the only real argument that could be made is for Jimmy Graham to be amongst the top 4. It makes one wonder: if positions that require a similar skillset but for whatever stupid reason are still considered "taboo" such as Defensive End and Linebacker were 50-50 as Tight End pretty much is, how many Pro Bowl/All Pro/"Elite" White players are out there that we never heard of/never got a shot?

The only reason Weddle got selected to the Pro Bowl last season was because he was amongst the league leaders (maybe he was THE league leader??) in interceptions--they could not deny him. He will never get the Deion Sanders/Revis/Ed Reed treatment by DWFs ie "he doesn't have a lot of interceptions because opposing QBs and offensive coaches FEAR him and they wouldn't DARE throw to their side of the field." Such a joke. Weddle's only hope for another Pro Bowl is to lead the league in interceptions again, period.
