49ers @ Rams game tonight, if the 49ers lose they probably won't make the playoffs. Let's go Rams, watching the 49ers implode even further is something we can all look forward too.

What do you guys reckon on tonight's game? I like Bradford but dunno if he has the recievers to beat the 49ers. Will try and stay up but living in the UK doesnt start till 1.30 in the morning here lol. Hoping for a big game from Chris Long, sacking the over rated kaepernick!

I don't have a lot of faith in the Rams but it would be as sweet as apple pie if they could give the 49ers another tick in the loss column.

Then again the Rams defense handled the black quarterbacks well last year when they were at the height of their efficacy.

They did well against Kaepernick last year so fingers crossed! Stopping him moving is the key, they are all struggling this year now defences have caught up with the read option, RG3 especially looks awful but his "injury" will be the excuse all year at this rate!

Rams should be up by 7. Receiver look like he ran the wrong route. 49ers offense looks awful which is good.

The Rams offense is anemic mostly because they have no run game. They'd be a good team to sign Hillis but that'll never happen.

Lol at the 49ers defender that just placed the ball into the hands of Jared Cook. :)

Announcers blamed his height but it looked like Bradford hit him right in the chest. I don't think they showed the replay either.

I thought the announcers said the name 'Pettis'? At least that's the name I heard after the failed catch.

1st 3 games Finnegan targeted 15 times, 13 completions, 175 yards, 2 TDs, no INT, passer rating 154.9
Welp, just throw it in Finnegan's direction and you win the game.

Rams running game is terrible, and to be honest I don't think that Bradford is very good either.

Earlier in the game they talked about how Long and Laurinaitis held defensive team meetings following their bad loss. Long trying to rally the Dline, Laurinaitis the linebackers. The front 7 is holding its own, but the secondary is a complete mess.

Too bad the Rams don't have someone "similar" to those two at DB...

Regardless, I find it sickening that on so many teams the best player on Defense is a white guy (and in the Ram's case, the two white guys are clearly the best 2 players), yet no team ever makes the connection and hires a couple of token crackers to try and hold their defense together.

The 49ers would be devastated without Justin Smith, yet can't be bothered to draft another like him.
The Cowboys D completely fell to pieces last year the minute Sean Lee went down, must be a coincidence.
NE's defense would be entirely useless without its couple of palefaces, but they can't seem to hire more than a couple at a time, even when they have first hand experience with the demographics of their perennially elite offense.

It's just silly.

Daryl Richardson has never proven anything, yet will have a secure job with the Rams for years while no team will give Peyton Hillis a legitimate chance. He has like 11 carries for 12 yards.

I don't think Bradford has ever had a legitimate running back in the 4 years he's been in the league. Steven Jackson was always hurt. Brian Leonard never got a chance. Peyton Hillis would be a logical choice, but of course the powers that be think guys like Richard and Pead have dat upside. :spit:

Let's say the Rams had signed Hillis and gave him the carries that Richardson received and ran for the exact same yardage, or even doubled it. He would have been laughed out of the league forever.

Steven Jackson ran for over 1,000 yards eight straight seasons before going to Atlanta for the 2013 season. He averaged under 4.0 yards per rush only one time despite being on awful teams with even worse o-lines, and was also a very good receiver out of the backfield.

Just because RBs like Brian Leonard and Peyton Hillis haven't been treated fairly, let's not get ridiculous when it comes to black running backs. Frank Gore is another very good one, not fast but knows how to run and get the most out of plays.

NFC West was touted at the elite division during the offseason but Seattle is the only good team there it seems.
