The 49ers are definitely the team to root against. Between Psycho Harbaugh and their reptilian-like black quarterback, they are harder to stomach than all the other awful "choices" in the league.
I couldn't watch much of the game at all, once it appeared obvious that the Rams were going to be routed. I did catch a bit of a post-game interview with Quotanick and Gore. Quotanick, who put up the kind of stats Alex Smith does every game, was not castigated like Smith for being a "game manager" or "checking down," he was lauded as if he'd rewritten the record books.
The entire premise of this interview was that Quotanick's sub-200 yard game had "vindicated" him in the eyes of all this imaginary criticism. Quotanick displayed every bit of his arrogant, obnoxious personality. He is clearly full of himself. Gore, by the way, might be the most ignorant sounding athlete ever, outside the world of professional boxing. Those who claim these NFL playbooks are "complex" have to explain how the Gores of the world, who in all reality probably are illiterate, can possibly comprehend what we are told are sophisticated, complex offenses.
Jeff Fisher is another Norv Turner. Inexplicably promoted as a "great coach" by the media, his record is mediocre. He is a faithful adherent to the Caste System, and loves players with "character" issues as well.
