2013 New Mexico Lobos

Here are your starting white New Mexico Lobos this year for coach Bob Davie. Under Mike Locksley, New Mexico took a huge nosedive, absolutely bottoming out under Locksley. Davies has started to resurrect the program, pulling it out of the doldrums in his first year, even if that meant going 4-9 in his first year. Since 2005, the Lobos have started 9, 11, 9, 7, 7, 6, 7, and 5 whites. Expect that number to take a nice leap back up to 9 this year! That’s pretty nice to see New Mexico that white again, even it is surprisingly under Davies. Some white backups to look for are: WR Cameron DeBesse, TE Chris Edling, LT Bryan Oldenkamp, RT Dillon Romine, and MLB David Orvick. I may have spoken too soon; expect the Lobos to be back down to around five white starters within 2 years or so.
