Good team to support this year. Hopefully Toby G gets to play, yet this will likely depend on Peterson's health as the year progresses and he is arguably the league's best RB.
Too bad they didn't keep Colin Anderson. Hope he can picked up by another team.

Thanks for the update, man. With 25 whites, I believe the Vikings have the whitest overall roster in the NFL, besting the Patriots (who have 24 whites) by one player and the Eagles (who have 22) by 3 players.

Defensively, the 2013 Vikings might be the most racially-palatable unit since the 2010 Browns. With quality white starters (Greenway, Allen, Robison, Smith), and white depth at all three defensive "levels," let's hope for sheer dominance from this group in 2013.

Offensively, Rudolph and Carlson should dominate, and one injury for Peterson would thrust Gerhart into service, with dynamic converted FB, Zach Line, blocking for him.

Between Green Bay, Philadelphia, Minnesota, and to a lesser extent, Dallas, the NFC seems to be changing for the better.

25 Whites on the roster? This would equal the Colts from one of those seasons in the mid-2000s, when they also had the same number, just under the majority. The Pats of that era (and since then) have also consistently maintained a white-friendly roster with at least 20, and often approaching, but never exceeding, the magical number 27.

The situation in MIN is especially curious since the coach is black, and the one white RB with talent to start for 75% of the teams has been wasting away there. Still, my list of teams to root for is now taking shape:

Denver is down to 16 White players, including just 5 White starters as Julius Thomas was named the starting TE. So it's Manning, Welker, Decker, and LG Zane Beadles on offense and Derek Wolfe on defense. Stewart Bradley would have been the starting MLB but he's out for the season. I'm really concerned that Peyton Manning won't have adequate protection this season.

Houston also has just one White starter on its o-line and just three White starters on offense this season -- Schaub, Owen Daniels and C Chris Myers.

Green Bay is almost barren of Whites beyond the starters.

That is quite interesting. It just goes to show that this thing is not as linear as it would sometimes seem. Also, even those who are decent folk are very reluctant to speak up against their fellow tribesmen. While the Vikings and Patriots are more white-friendly than average, the Timberwolves simply ARE white.

Last year the Vikings took two whites in the first round of the draft, and neither was a QB. When is the last time that happened? As much as I like to see the Viking defense, I hate that Mauti and Cole are "stacked" as back ups, much like Gerhardt and Line on the other side of the ball. Still, those are positions where injuries happen a lot. They are a team to watch, and not just because I took their defense in fantasy football.

He compared the NFL to modern day slavery. I think something like that would even piss off the DWF's if more of them knew about it. Especially in this economy.
