Here are the chosen few for coach Justin Fuente and the Memphis Tigers this season. The Tigers have managed to get way blacker than they were during the Tommie West era; at least he had some white players during his reign in Memphis. Fuente doesn’t see the need for white players, as evidenced by his four white starters this year, and completely coal black two deep defensive depth chart. Since 2005, Memphis has started 6, 8, 9, 5, 4, 4, 6, and 7 whites; look for that to fall down to four this year, and for Memphis to be the celler dwellers in the new American Athletic Conference. White backups to look for include: QB Paxton Lynch, TE Jesse Milleson, and C Michael Stannard. That is all of the white players on the Memphis two deep. A paltry seven players.
