Awful Refs

Louisville has been playing well in the 2nd half but the refs in this game have been horrible. Louisville is getting almost all the close calls plus alot of no calls. There was an obvious missed goaltending call at the beginning of the game that cost Michigan 2 points. Michigan is also missing way too many free throws. At least Albrecht and Han**** have made their marks on this game. McGary has been in foul trouble and hasn't done much. Trey Burke has basically disappeared yet again.

Good game. My 1st time watching college ball since the White Devils, er Blue Devils won the whole thing a couple of years ago. I was pulling for the Wolverines but they had trouble hitting shots and free throws in the 2nd half. Louisville, on the other hand was hitting shots and getting key rebounds the 2nd half.

Great game by Hand.job. 22 pts and the final 4 MVP!

I thought the final 4 and subsequent final would be coalfest. I was wrong. Great to see alot of White players balling in the final 4 and tonight.

yeah.. & I heard their coach picked up his 8th national title in the process. He's 8-0 in national championship games. :first:

It seems like there is a stronger White presence in women's collegiate basketball (than in men's). I dont know the comparative %s, that's the impression I've gotten, based on the highlights I see from time to time. (I've never stayed awake thru a women's game). The WNBA might be a little different demographically (?)..

Some good news for us at this site. Michigan lost two of their black starters to the nba draft. So next season we will see three or four whites starting for a still very talented Wolverines Squad. This should be exciting and Spike will be leading the show at the point guard position. What we saw in the first half of the national championship game is only the start of a exciting colllege career for this kid. I'm excited to watch these guys play next year to help continue to fight the stupid stereotypes that white basketball players face!
